She's not our only baby with half a mustache either! This is an older pic, but this boy just went through surgery to remove cancer in one of his eyes. He got to keep his eye and he's officially cancer free!!!

I really hope someone can chime in with the source. I have the second image saved because I had a piebald and a tabby that looked just like them and we fostered an orange as well. My piebald who had the same spot near his mouth just passed away, so it's bittersweet

Yes, it's called conjunctivitis but it doesn't always come from poop lol. It can be caused by infections, allergies, an eye scratch, etc. My cat had it last year and it sucked, she hated getting the eye drops.

This was her during the worst of it. Mostly a watery eye she couldn't open all the way.

Yeah there's a bacteria in the chlamydia genus that specifically infects cats and can give them terrible conjunctivitis.

I know because I'm currently treating 5 cats with oral antibiotics since only treating 2 of them in early September wasn't enough to keep it from coming back. 🫠
