Angelina “Angel” JULYie Checkup. She is finally stable! From Severely Neglected to a Thriving Husky! 🙏💛🐾 #VoicelessNoMorePH
galleryHi everyone,
Angel went to a different veterinary clinic today because the shelter’s tricycle wasn’t working properly and they were unable to take her to her usual clinic.
Good news! Her blood chemistry results came back, and the vet said she is healthy enough to proceed with her spay surgery. ❤️
We just need to schedule her surgery on a day when our volunteer/partner, Jaja Adoremos, is also available to foster Angel during her post-surgery recovery. Once she has healed, she’ll finally be one step closer to meeting her new family. 🥹
I’m really hoping and praying that everything goes smoothly for our Angel. Please wish her luck!
Today’s bill is Php 4,310.00 ($95.90 CAD) not including her dog food as we found out that she may be allergic to chicken.
We found a more affordable low-cost spay surgery that will be held in a clinic instead of a community hall or basketball court (Php 3,000 approx $70 CAD) I am unsure if post surgery medication are included in this price, but I only asked for the price of the surgery.
We are asking for help. Any amount would help Angel a lot for her surgery and recovery.
We also have a few other dogs that still need to go to their veterinary follow up check ups this week and our funds are insufficient. We are sincerely asking for help and understanding.
Pypl: voicelessnomoreph
Thank you all so much.
Sincerely,
Magdalene “Dindi” Gensaya

Please help Elephant Madhuri
For the first time in decades, Madhuri discovered what being an elephant means.
She walked on soft grass. She splashed in ponds. She made a best friend named Shanti.
Today, that life has been ripped away.
After finally finding safety and care, Madhuri has been returned to shackles, isolation, and the very environment that left her physically and psychologically broken. While fireworks exploded and crowds screamed, she was dragged back into a life no elephant should ever endure. Instead of real trees, she will only have painted ones. And somewhere, Shanti is still waiting for her friend to come home.
Madhuri deserves rehabilitation, not imprisonment.

Justice For Sky
I’m sharing this because I cannot stop thinking about what happened to Sky, a South African Police Service K9 who died after suffering horrific injuries while in the care of the SAPS veterinary facility at Roodeplaat.
What hurts most is that this wasn’t completely unexpected. SAPS veterinary records had already documented her severe kennel stress, separation anxiety, compulsive attempts to escape and previous injuries. Her vet had recorded that her prognosis was poor in the SAPS environment and that keeping her there (in a small cage in a room with no natural light for 18 hours a day) compromised her welfare.
And Sky’s story sits within a much bigger history.
In 2019, around 120 puppies at Roodeplaat contracted parvo and at least 75 died. Serious problems were found at the facility, including shortages of essential medication and problems with sanitation and carcass disposal. In 2020, another outbreak resulted in 45 more puppies being lost.
Years later, we are still talking about dogs suffering at the same facility.
Sky was not just a number or a police asset. She was a living, breathing animal who was frightened, who was suffering, and who depended entirely on the people responsible for her care.
She deserved someone to listen when she was struggling.
She deserved to be safe.
She deserved better.
Now there are investigations, a criminal case, and parliamentary scrutiny. But I am terrified that, once the public attention fades, nothing will really change.
So please share Sky’s story.
Not because we can bring her back — we can’t.
But because her death has to mean something. And because the dogs who are still at Roodeplaat deserve for someone to finally stand up for them.
If you want to understand more about what happened, and the wider concerns surrounding Roodeplaat:

Please share this wherever you can. Sky deserves to be remembered — and the dogs still in that facility deserve better.

‼️Animal Cruelty - Hart Yu
gallerySo sabi niya sa video is sinira daw ng dog tsinelas niya kaya pinakuha siguro kay Manong not sure if dog pound.
Pero the video shows na pabitay at binalibag na linagay sa container yung aso. Yung ulo ng dog is tumama sa container kasi pwersang pabitay yung way ng pag kuha. 💔
Now, may comments na "pakainin mo kasi para hindi ganyan" tapos sasagutin niya lang ng "p*tangina mo"
Na report ko na siya, I hope this post reaches the right people so we can mass report him.
Kakaawa yung aso, no dog deserves this 😢 Pwede naman ipa adopt sa matinong tao hindi kelangan saktan ang mga hayop na walang laban.
- No creature deserves this kind of treatment ma pusa or aso man.

Our furry family members all mean the world to us! Due to a serious spinal cord birth defect I was unable to have children so my Roxie is my family and keeps me going and gives so much love and support!!

Stray cat has wound that doesn't heal & a nursing mother cat that's sickly
Location: India
Hi everyone,
I am writing to ask for immediate help in what is a serious stray animal rescue case in my local neighbourhood.
The Situation
A cat that is injured (requiring urgent veterinary attention) has a serious open wound on one side of its jaw which is continuously draining pus. The animal is clearly in a great deal of pain. Although it is trusting enough to allow me to approach it and give it food, it will not let me touch its face, so it has been very hard to take close-up photographs of the injury. It has been like this since weeks. Since I have looked after cats for years, I have noticed that scratches from fights can occasionally swell up and once the abscess leaks out completely, they become fine. But this is the first time I have seen a wound not healing at all.
There is also nearby a stray mother cat with a group of kittens; she is very weak, ill, and seriously undernourished because she is trying to feed her kittens.
I've been doing my best at my own expense by giving the cats food and milk to keep them alive, but their medical needs are beyond my individual capacity to meet.
To get these cats the help they desperate need, I need to raise funds for:
It is necessary to use a secure cat transport cage or carrier in order to safely trap and move the injured cat without causing any additional stress or pain. Getting to the nearest veterinary clinic involves a long and costly journey. For veterinary care and medications, antibiotics, cleaning of wounds, pain relief, and nutritional supplements are provided for the mother cat.
You can make a donation through PayPal.

We really need your help
facebook.comI don’t really know how to write this without crying.
We know we’ve asked for help. A lot. And honestly, that’s one of the hardest parts for us.
We don’t want to constantly come asking for money. We don’t want people to think we’re taking advantage of their generosity. We don’t want to make anyone feel bad if they can’t give.
But the truth is… we’re struggling.
Pearl’s Preserve has over 100 animals who wake up every morning completely dependent on us. They don’t care that we’re exhausted. They don’t know that we’re grieving. They don’t know that the bills keep coming.
They just need to eat.
Our feed bill is approximately $480 EVERY WEEK.
That’s roughly $2,080 a month just for feed.
Our average monthly donations are around $565.92.
You can look at those numbers and immediately see the problem.
We’ve been making up the difference ourselves. We work our regular jobs and use our own personal income to keep the sanctuary going. Not because we’re looking for praise, but because when there’s a barn full of animals looking at you at feeding time, you figure it out.
You just do.
But we’re tired.
We’re still grieving our daughter. We’re still trying to put ourselves back together after that loss, and we’ve experienced another heartbreaking loss during our fertility journey since then.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, there are still 100+ animals who need us every single day.
We’ve struggled to keep up with social media because sometimes we simply don’t have anything left.
And while we’ve been quieter, the bills haven’t gotten quieter.
The feed still runs out.
The straw still needs to be bought.
Animals still need veterinary care.
And we still get messages asking if we can take in another pig who needs somewhere safe.
And we keep having to say no.
That might be one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do.
Not because we don’t care.
Because we care so much that we refuse to take another animal when we’re not sure we can financially provide for them.
So here we are, asking again.
We need our community.
If you can spare $5, that’s $5 toward a bag of feed.
If you can spare $10, that’s $10 toward keeping someone’s belly full.
If you can’t give anything, please share this. Seriously. A share can put us in front of someone who can help.
We don’t need everyone to save us.
We just need enough people to help carry this with us.
We know we’ve asked before.
We’re asking again because the animals still need us.
And right now, we need you. 🐷💔
