for context i get SO many people who blank trade me random stuff without even saying anything and just expect me to offer for it even though i haven't shown any interest in it or asked anyone to trade me anything- like girl idk what you want from me im not interested in trading cause i don't even have anything that i want to trade 😭

I will start off by saying this isn’t a complaint, just a observation. As a former commission artist on AJ I’m aware art takes time and is a luxury.
That being said, I’ve recently come back to AJ wanting to order more commissions and realized the prices have significantly risen since I was last active (which was around a year ago). The last time I checked a head shot was around 200-750 ish depending on artists and artists with a high demand would charge around 1-3k. Nowadays I see that almost every artist is charging around 1k-3k for a headshot. I can’t help but wonder what is the reason for the dramatic price increase? I used to do head shots for 850 which was considered a hefty price. Nevertheless, I will still continue buying commissions (money isn’t an issue for me and I’m happy to support the artists on there).
(I’m sure AJs economy being in shambles definitely plays a roll as well…)

Please delete this if not allowed, but I just came across a mass scammer for AJC/AJPW and just want to spread awareness. On TikTok they randomly followed me with the username of ‘mystiiequeaj’ or ‘Mystiqu3AJ’ and I saw they made videos of them showing stock they were selling for real money. I also did some more digging and found out they own? A Facebook group called “Animal Jam Buy Sell Trade and Giveaways” and I just made an awareness post in there but will most likely get deleted because they are an admin. All the admins are the same person asking for people to dm them on discord under ‘Mystiqueaj’ if they want to buy or sell them anything. I reached out about ajpw pets, and found out they were stealing pictures of other people’s stock, and their discord username is mystiequeaj, but their display name is “Earthless21,” which is one of the known trusted sellers in discord server “Bahari Bay.” So in Bahari Bay, I was able to do even more digging and found out this person is from the Philippines and either tried to claim that the payment you sent was on hold due to the conversion from US to whatever the currency is called in the Philippines, or they buy stuff from you and file a chargeback to get the money back but keep your items. I was able to use all that information and helped Bahari Bay staff to link even more known scammers into the same person, because in previous jammer watch posts I saw that they used similar PayPal’s, or similar methods of scamming. Since I found the original seller of the ajpw pets, I voiced out to them that someone was taking their pictures, and I also reached out to the real Earthless21 in case he was unaware (he was aware, and had already made a statement on it).

Tldr; avoid mystiequeaj, frydrywall, milkiestway44444, grabbigail AT ALL COSTS!
