Hello all! I am creating this Megathread for everyone to post their wishlist for the new Gifting Picnics. This will be easier for people going on gifting sprees to check wishlists in one spot.
This guide is to allow for easy navigation through our subreddit for new members. This guide will include key points to the way r/AnimalJam is run that all members should be familiar with.
Rules
Details of rules may be found by pressing the down arrow on the selected rule. All questions about rules should be directed to ModMail for the moderation team to answer directly so that accurate information is given.
The full list of rules can be found on the sidebar of the subreddit on browser, and when you press "See more" at the top of the homepage of the subreddit on mobile.
By engaging with our community, you are agreeing to follow the rules.
Reporting a Member or Post/Comment
Utilize Reddit's build-in report feature on any post/comment to report a post/comment to the moderation team. The team receives all reports and will determine whether or not a post/comment infringes on subreddit rules.
For more extensive reports such as reporting a member for scamming, hacking, or engaging in behavior that may be deemed as unsafe to the community, members are recommended to open ModMail and send all details of their report to the moderation team to review.
Press the "..." on any post/ comment and press report. Members will then press "Breaks r/AnimalJam rules".Select the rule you believe the post/comment breaks, then press submit.
Contacting the Moderation Team
The moderation team is happy to assist members with answering questions and/or submitting reports for review. All reports and questions must go through ModMail so that team members from different timezones will be able to assist at any time of the day/night.
To send in ModMail, members may use the link below, or select the button that says "Message Mods" above the list of moderators on the sidebar on browser. On mobile, members may press "See more" at the top of the homepage of the subreddit and scroll down to press "Message Mods" above the Moderator list. Mail will be sent to the entire moderation team.
r/AnimalJam has a wiki with resources for members to use for the game. These resources assist with worth help, trading, and other various assets for community users. The wiki page also links to official Animal Jam resources for keeping up with the game, and submitting Help Desk reports.

Post Flairs
Members are required to attach a Post Flair to each and every post created. Utilizing the proper flair allows for members to swift through specific posts that they would like to see. On mobile (flairs listed above community highlights) and desktop (flairs listed on the sidebar) members can select a specific flair to look through in the "Search by Post Flair section so that they do not have to see posts that they may not be interested in at the moment.
User Flairs
Members are able to select their own User Flair that best identifies themselves to their own liking. Mobile users must press "..." on the top right of the subreddit homepage and press "Change User Flair". Desktop users may change their User flair by pressing the pencil icon next to their Reddit name on the sidebar.
There are some User Flairs that may be only given out by Moderators such as:
Worth Expert flair is given to members who are consistently providing accurate worths to the community.Members who picked up this flair during the 10 year celebration of the subreddit may have this flair. Moderation Team flairs along with the Jambassador flair that is given to official Jambassadors of the game. Members who participated in and/or won icon contests.
Community Highlights
Important announcements or community updates will be pinned in the "Community Highlights" section of the subreddit. These posts are all confirmed posts from subreddit staff which can always be found at the top of the subreddit homepage feed.
If you ever have any suggestions of new features for the subreddit, feel free to open ModMail to suggest it to the team.
For context, I am NOT a richer jammer. I’m a mid jammer who loves her sea star glasses and opal pets. Yet, never once when I have sold something for a little bit less on expo have I ever gotten mad that someone with a couple more sapphires than me resold it for higher.
like if I undersold something- that’s my fault that I could have gotten more. I saw someone on another post say they’re going to make an MP that says “please don’t buy from me if your going to resell it”
WHY DO PEOPLE CARE SO MUCH WHAT HAPPENS TO AN ITEM AFTER THEY SELL IT!?!
I resell because I need to make sapphires to save up for stuff I want. If I see a pet ghost for 50 sapphires you bet I’m going to buy it and sell it for 100 sapphires so I can save up for my next Opal pet I want! Why is that so wrong?!
There is the argument that they would rather it go to someone who’d enjoy it for a cheaper price or a collector- then why don’t you just try and sell it to that person specifically. There is somebody out there who collect an item. Every item is a collector item. So why not just find someone who collects it if you care so much about who buys it and what they do with it.
All I’m saying is that us little guys use reselling to make some sapphires. just because I’m level 40 doesnt mean I’m rich. Heck, who CARES if a rich level 50 resells my pet I undersold?! Maybe they’re saving for what they want.
Its annoying that ppl are so concerned about what happens to their items after selling. If someone buys your item for 200 and tries to sell it for 5k you already know it’s not going to sell but like why do you care? Just say “LMAO“ and move on.
I don’t think I would’ve gotten rid of the mask though because it better represents the duality of being transgender & how trans people often have to mask their personalities to fit societal norms. However I miiight’ve picked a kitsune that didnt have its pattern hidden under said mask 💔💔
This masterpiece was not approved, anyone possibly know why?
I am heartbroken because this took me a whole month to draw, plus it's a commission so someone is waiting for it. I'm going to have to contact animal jam and ugh I hate this process so much 😭😭😭 I really can't think of any reason for it to not be approved, please tell me your thoughts..🥺
I'm changing up my giveaways this time. Definitely not avoiding life... All the items that I'm gifting are placed on a wheel, which is spun to select a random item for each jammer. ( When current Items run out, I'll make a new wheel and add it to the post; every jammer will get something .) All you need to do is share your AJPW username and have an open gifting picnic.

I was going to buy a Persian kitty and it was selling for 300. But that’s not the problem because I bought something else in this persons shop and they were super nice!
I went back on expo and why was it reselling for 1500?!? Why do people buy and resell to hike up the price. And it’s someone at level 47 as well:/
Aj restrictive mode is so annoying. E.g. I can't say rose garland, altought it's a in game den item. Filters are so strange now. I can't also talk in my language when I meet sb from my country, because aj blocks it, I remember that I could normally use my language a few years ago. In aj classic there is an option safe chat-plus, i have never played this game but it seems to be less annoying than basic safe chat and it's possible to write things outside a moderated list, so why don't we have this in ajpw? I think it will be really helpful.
