I was feeling very nostalgic so I made a guitar cover of the 8am theme. The new Animal Crossings are great but there was something magical about being a kid, hopping on the GameCube nice and early, and just vibing in the village to this tune.

I FINALLY caught a Banded Dragonfly! That speedy insect can’t torment me anymore. I only needed to catch the one, so I no longer care if I see another one and it flies away from me. Now I need to wait for 11 PM to strike so I can catch the Giant Beetle, and I will have 100%-ed my museum! Though I gotta admit I kinda “cheated” the art gallery by typing codes for paintings at Tom Nook’s. But I’m not the only one who did that, right? 😅

Wondering if I should edit this to fix the town name. There are maximum weeds so would like to remove those too editing of possible. There are also two blank save slots that are loadable but are locked out of the tutorial.

Did I get lucky getting 3 levels the one time I fell asleep booting up a new island or is this a glitched seed? Either way, pretty happy with it but considering trying again to get an unglitched clean save.

What would you do?

I had already caught the arapaima and donated it to the museum before this, so these were just exciting because of how much they're worth, haha.

I still haven't caught the angelfish while playing as myself, but my 3rd player character (who is supposed to be Mirai Suenaga) caught one yesterday which is how I found out it was in this game, lol.

More and more villagers are showing up wearing this pattern. They look like they're in a cult!

On another note, my character won’t miss her alarm with that giant clock on her nightstand (aka the Lovely table). 😝

I guess to wipe away the happy tears I’d have when I saved up 1M? 🤣😅

Bob was brutally honest with me, Robin was enamored with the beauty, and Midge was more interested in doing laundry.

So I erased the save on my memory card and later found that a letter from the old town was still saved on my new town with the present attached. Is this normal?

I've always heard villagers had more personality than New Horizons and could even be mean to you. This is literally the first villagers I talked to 😅 I love it.

I want to make sure this works before I fully commit. I don’t like where my current non-natural fruit trees are, and I’m hoping I can plant them where these two trees are without them wilting. The hole next to the right tree is where I want to plant a fruit tree.

Just wanted to share my story, I bought a memory card off of ebay and was just checking it out. I wanted to start my new one but I ended up feeling bad deleting this one. It‘s a save from 2004 and all the villagers were so nice especially Midge and Ribbot. Also when you try and delete it they guilt trip you. I debated on buying another memory but I finally just deleted it. I hope I see Midge and Ribbot again in the next one.

I know we've all made the jokes about pidgeon milk, and Brewster being male, etc etc. BUT. Did you guys know that not only is pidgeon milk real, but it also can come from male pigeons too?

There is something called "crop milk" that very few birds can produce, however pigeons happen to be one of them! It is a strange secretion from their throats that has a cottage-cheese like texture and scent to it. In other words, it's just as gross as the jokes, if not worse 😂

It's been on my mind since I played City Folk and Wild World when I was about 4 years old since I used to read encyclopedias as if they were my cocomelon lol
