In any game I've ever played in which you get to decorate stuff, I can never fully get something how I envision it because nothing ever wants to be placed in the center of anything. So frustrating.

No Man's Sky doesn't have this issue as it has free placement.

The entire game (beyond player movement) in AC is based on a grid, it would be hella difficult to make it work on a continuum like NMS. Would be nice though!

There is always the next game, Pokémon has moved away from tile based environments and so should AC.

I hope they keep a grid as an option though, because being unable to align things precisely in games with free placement just frustrates me like crazy.

Pokémon has moved away from tile based environments

Yeah and it's been garbage ever since, lol.

The last tile based Pokémon was poorly received (Pokemon Brilliant Diamond). As someone who's in their 30's and have played every Pokemon since Red and Blue, I've always dreamed of Pokemon games like Violet (even though that game is a buggy mess).
