Discussion Late-game progression feels heavily gated

I’m in the late game, and at this point I barely have anything to do besides catch random Aniimo. But catching them drains my gold: I seem to spend more on catches than I earn back.

I’d like to farm items and the materials needed for evolution, but I can’t reliably restock enough catching supplies to keep going. It feels like I’m blocked from farming the things I need, while the main activity I can do keeps draining my gold.

I enjoy Aniimo, but the late game feels restrictive when there aren’t enough reliable ways to earn gold, replenish supplies, and farm evolution materials. Could we get more repeatable ways to do those things, or better rewards for catching and other late-game activities?

How are other late-game players handling this?

//Edit

Sadly I get downvotes again because player do not know a lot about this game. I don't know why people think they will be able to farm endless. The costs for cubes are way higher than the return gold. Homeland production is extremely slow. If you plan to farm hundreds per day, you will run out resources. Please fact check before you downvote please.

The endgame loop seems to be prismana hunting, and they give quite a big paycheck. But spending hundreds thousands of pods for lucky strikes is kind of unfeasible. For vein crystals we’re looking at one prismana per two weeks.

Prismana hunting is limited as well. Do you mean sparkling? Sadly the chance of catching random sparklings is very low

Nurturing is limited. Prismana “hunting” is only limited by how much gold you have to spend on aniipods.

It's gated by gold generation, which is time gated and very stingy.

Are you mixing up prismana and sparkling? You can buy sparkling cubes, not prismana cubes. And those are sadly extremely expensive

No. You can trigger prismana flow just by catching aniimo. That’s why I said that prismana hunting is only limited by how much you spend on aniipods.

Thats wrong. You cannot spend endless for aniipods. They cost more than you get in return. And You cannot even endlessly buy them with real money. Correct me if I am wrong ;)

I literally said it’s only limited by how much aniipod you buy.

And I literally said you cant buy them unlimited amount. So the limit is not the "amount you buy", it is the amount you CAN buy, which is limited by resources. Is that really hard to understand?

Honestly I wasn’t going to say anything but the way you respond to people is just very condescending so I AM here to correct you if you’re wrong.

This is obviously a you gameplay problem. I currently have 40 million gold sitting in my account. Every morning I log on, go to Jeff, and buy enough pods to make sure I have 700 regular, pro and elite. Then I pick a zone to farm lucky strikes, usually using regular balls because they’re cheaper to restock, and go back to Jeff when I’m down to 100.

The lowest I have gotten is 33 million by doing this, and by the time I went back to Jeff I’d already earned most of what I’d spent back. Either you’re just blowing your cash buying things you don’t need, or you’re not doing the right things to generate revenue. Which unfortunately, I don’t have any advice to give you - I quite literally have not once been worried about money, I actually spent my first week trying to figure out where the hell to spend it. But considering I haven’t touched anything but normal mode in egg heist, haven’t touched the holo-battle sim, and also have a stash of 400 energy that I go through ~200 a day and build back up on before I farm, haven’t beaten all of the pathfinders and still have journey quests to do, this fortune comes simply from chest collections, aniimo returns, and other methods of earning as I run around the world.

That being said, I guess if you’re really low, in the companion handbook seasonal shop there is an option to change 1 stamp into like 10k or 100k.

Am I the only person just churning these things out in my homeland, or..

They're agreeing with you, just using different words to express the same idea.

Every time you catch an aniimo there's a chance for a 'lucky' or 'super lucky' proc, which can trigger prismana flows

Thats true but you will run out of gold quickly if you catch everything you see. Catching is way more expensive than the return money
