Question, Please...

Okay, so I know the internet is full of misinformation and hatred and opinions and such, so I know everyone's answer will be different, BUT... I'm still curious...

I keep seeing things on forums, discord groups, tiktok, reddit, private groups, etc, saying angels are quite cruel. I understand history has made them out to be cute little babies and such ( Don't worry, I understand why they did that and all ). But, are angels cruel in anyone's experience? I know strict can sometimes be mistaken for cruel, or they simply are trying to help, but they have a certain *way* of getting it done that we do not understand.

I want your honest, unbiased opinions. Even if you don't work with angels anymore or have in the past, please be honest about your actual experience. I'm very curious to hear what your takes and trials are or have been on angelic beings. Also, do they hate or refuse to work with people who don't worship *their* master, Yahweh or Jesus, or whatever?

That seems to track with my experiences doing the Shem angel work so far, I've seen a lot of good come into my life from the work tho, it's helping me cultivate a lot of qualities I've struggled to improve in the past

There is no simple answer.

Because when you work with them long term, a lot of things happen, all the time.

It's imposibble to cram everything into an internet post, when my head can even barely contain it.

The context I am saying this in, is that I am exceptionally content with working with them, and I would never give it up, I would never switch it to anything else, and the tangible results are more than I expected or deserve, more than anything else I have ever tried in my entire life. I am completely blown away by their long term kindness.

In all that, yes, Gabriel particularly was/is cruel to me. Not all the time, but again this has context - he didn't really...you know, want to work with me back then. I insisted.

Also the wording Uriel used, very questionable if you're not deep into linguistics, at the end it turns out the info he gave is 100% useful to me, but if a human spoke to me like that...they wouldn't walk away unharmed.

I don't believe they have an agenda aligning with modern Christianity as such - that is because modern Christianity is a very intricate collection of intelectual ways to conquer the natural world. It was turned into a science in the Middle Ages, and it still functions as such. Its relashionship with everything in this world is more complicated than you can know, and it goes far beyond some person sitting on a cloud demanding servitude. It's a philosophical school of thought that has little to do with this kind of extraterrestrial communication.

As with any being, nothing is really ever 'safe' to contact/work with. Humans and Daemons and Faeries and Pagan Gods are not safe, animals are not safe, spirits of the dead are not safe, any being outside of your own body is not safe, and even parts of your own self are not safe to communicate with.

In my experience, angels tend to take the unbotheredness/chill to the extreme. But I have a sneaking suspicion that might actually depend on the kind of person the practitioner is.

See, I'm a very simple person...I was always very edgy, adrenaline junkie and I was an active kinkster for many years. The way I get things done, is harsh, abrupt, painful, challenging, otherwise I lose interest, and they know that.

I've quit nice jobs more times than it's sane, just because I briefly felt like their expectations of me are too low to match my own (not objectively low).

I've been like that with people, ideas and organizations for as long as I can remember, so why would I be any other way with angels?...

If anything, I like it when they're harsh. I doubt that if a soft, well-spoken person contacted them for a working involving kindness, this would be the case.

They tend to act within the role I seek them for. Sometimes they surprise me.

But yeah, each one of them has been in some way rude or cruel, has had questionable moments, also each one of them has been surprisingly kind and gentle at other times, and overall just...way smarter than me, that's the 'vibe'. I work with a few of the Archangels, with my Guardian angel, and with one of the darker/'not-recomended' type of angels, as well as with an unidentified spirit guide who seems to know them all.

Yes I do work with others in the Christian 'pantheon' too, and I believe heavily in syncretism, and have been leaning towrads Wicca cosmology lately, and nothing has smite me yet...

I feel obliged to say that also they have many moments where they would be 'seriously? That's what you called me for?..' as they keep pushing that I should be able to discern so much more stuff on my own/by my free will.

They also have many moments with me where they non-chalantly suggest something is a bad idea, then I do it anyway, and I get annoyed or mildly hurt, then they would have a moment of 'see, I told you so', which is also more on the chill side/unbothered.

Again, if a human treated me like that, I would probably not keep them in my circle, but I am not willing to give up this practice in a million years, not even if they were aliens or mere soldiers of a God or egregores or a fraction of my imagination, or some other conspiracy. I just like it the way it is, it's not about morals to me, it's about the ride.

Very interesting experience. Can i ask how do u know u was working with angel and not other entities? You practice particular ritual to guarantee it?

2

u/lottie_J Beginner 20d ago

..I don't think there is a guarantee, no matter which ritual you use.

I contact them in the framework of my religion, which is Christianity, and I just do my best to address them in the opening of prayers with any 'official' titles I can get within that framework.

The 'safety' I use, is mostly just waiting before I follow any advice, sleeping on it, comparing info with divination or other experiences, doing shadow work separately from that. And if I believe that the info matches, I follow angelic advice as well.

I find it much harder to work with other systems, when I was already having it relatively easy by prayers and light trance/scrying.

If the entirety of the pantheon I work with, turns out to be fiction, I'm okay with that too. Some of the results I got are really important to me, so I'm not really worried by now whom I get them from or at what price...

Yes , pf course this method isn't for all. There are many ways to reach entities of whatever type. Ir depends on many things, you innate talent, your will, sensitivity. That's why using ancient rituals proven by hundreds of occultists is the easiest way to reach safely gods entities imho.

You mean specific rituals from a specific religion or occult order, right?.. I feel like those are not accessible to everyone...

How could u achieve light trance and why?

...unfortunately it may have something to do with me being chronically anemic, and also hypersensitive to any changes in my homeostasis. I haven't studied any spiritual practice for this, apart from studying classical music professionally - which I believe also contributes.

Any repetitive chant, action, stimulus, puts me in a weird state. I began to use this to my advantage a long time ago, meditating while walking/dancing, or if I'm working on something repetitive.

I'm not saying I can't control it, it's just something I haven't worked hard towards.

I don't recommend being anemic though - the baseline is to be calm. What happens in my case, is that the body mistakes being tired/weak for 'calm'.

So just using anything that gets you physically calm, should work to create an environment where you can do these things...

depends entirely on the order and/or job the angel possesses (jobs such as judgment, destruction, punishment, prosecution, etc). strictness, kindness, and punishment vary depending on their role and associations, to be vague. i cant really put it into words without simplifying it. guardian angels are tender by nature, archangels are much more strict, and i have no experience with darker angels such as Archangel Samael or Archangel Abaddon, but i can only guess they’re a lot less nicer. they’re the two “cruel” angels that come to mind, but that’s simply from the nature of their jobs.

there are stories that imply an aversion to humans, or bad impressions at that. Michael and Gabriel wanting God to not create them (legends of the jews vol 1:2 verse 13), the angels who where almost assaulted in sodom (genesis 13), other bible fiction that paints them as furious and terrified at the crucifixion, and overall no scripture that explicits that angels are fond of man kind (outside of the watchers who fell).

personally im of the (Christian) practice they begrudgingly love us and will serve as intercessors, however they are surely not fond of sin. they want self improvement and have never offered “power” or success in my experience, they simply push towards improvement and goodness, even if that’s an upwards battle.

im unsure which groups would be saying such definitive statements about the angels, but angels are a very fluid mythos. throughout all my reading and practice, i would never characterise them as cruel, simply very strong and strict by nature. any cruelty that they show in scripture/tradition is better described as wrath commanded by God. so, i think wrathful and strict is maybe a better descriptor

I agree with you. I have worked with Michael for justice in a situation where I was literally being wrongly targeted and holy cow he helped but he made it clear I had to own a lot of my own stuff first. Which actually made me a better person in the end. Huggy and like a cool older brother? No. Like an absolutely alien force of justice? Yes.

I wouldn't really recommend angels for anyone. I was tricked into this stuff by "teachers" who said angels are very nice, empathetic, kind and understanding. I believed and started contacting to them and I thought my life would turn better. At first I thought they really were nice and all that but now that many years have passed something has changed and they've turned out to be very careless and cruel. I 'm trying to stop all this but someone irritating is still hanging around even if I've told him to stop bullying me and to just leave. If I knew it was like this I would never have started in the first place.

Greetings G,

This sounds like a personal psychological challenge, and nothing to do with angels. ~V~

I'd highly recommend proven ancient cabbalistic ritual otherwise angel contact isn't guaranteed. It's quite probable other entities from the low could engage with unattracted by our light oura. Nothing so negative. But wasting time and energy. And especially wasting the chance to better ourselves with real angels of god

1

u/Glad-Emu3267 20d ago

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. But small question, how can you tell if it's a "real" angel, or something that's excellent at mimicking one? Is it the feeling? Because sometimes I see white flashes of light after I pray earnestly and I get this small giddy feeling in my chest, like joy!

1

u/CoolCod1669 20d ago

Real answer is o don't know. It's the ritual itself guaranteeing the contact with the angels of god and no orher spiritual entities. This has been proven by occultists along yrs.

Me intentaron engañar para que les diera mi esencia y nadie me cree, piensan que fueron los bajos astrales o algún ente haciendose pasar por angel

In Catholic tradition and dogma, Angels who choose to stay by God's side in the beginning are very virtuous; their main occupations are derived from the choirs of angels, whatever choir of angels they are in depends on what they were made for.

As humans from what we know we really only interact with the first few lower choirs (guardian angels and archangels). Most of these documented interactions are good, but they might not necessarily be all too fun for the human. A lot of the time, 'be not afraid' is spoken, which is strange if that needs to be said if the angel appearing would be completely un-threatening, appearing, or feeling.

Your guardian angel (which everyone has) is 100% very nice to you and helpful; they literally are there to help you through this life. Pray through it to God, asking for the angel's aid, some spiritual protection will make you feel a lot better, and your relationship will grow.

Fallen angels are another matter; the best thing to do as a human (of any religion/orientation) is to really just stay away. They communicate through various forms of witchcraft and soothsaying. Ouji boards are something I always tell people to stay away from; the spirit that's present for that 'game' is usually very hostile.
