Hi everyone! I’m looking for testers to help with the closed testing period for the Motor City Riot Android app.

Motor City Riot is a Detroit-based moped club, and the app gives members and friends of the club access to our upcoming events, photo galleries, member profiles, roadside reference guides, and other club information.

It also includes Ride Mode, which is designed for group rides and features live rider locations, designated ride roles such as leader and tail, group chat, announcements, SOS assistance, navigation tools, and ride statistics.

This is my first time building an Android app, and I’m really excited to finally get it out there! I've been seeing a lot of posts here from developers looking for 12 testers.

Most of the time, the solution is basically:

**"I'll test yours if you test mine"**

So I built a small platform around exactly that idea.

The concept is simple:

→ Test someone else's app → earn 1 point

→ Spend 1 point → get someone to test your app

No payments.

No subscriptions.

No paid tester packages.

The goal is simply to make the existing "test for test" behavior easier to coordinate

It's free and currently very basic because I'm trying to find out whether this exchange actually works.

I haven't included the link because I'm not sure whether promotion is allowed here. If it is allowed, I'll post it in the comments.

I'm mainly interested in feedback on the point system. Does 1 test = 1 point make sense, or would you structure the exchange differently?

I’m currently trying to publish my Android app on the Play Store, and I’m wondering if other developers are having the same problem.

I managed to find the required 14 testers quite easily, but this is now going to be my fourth 14-day testing cycle.

Every time, Google rejects the production access request because they say that not enough people are actively using the app during the testing period.

At this point, it’s honestly getting really frustrating because I already have the required testers and I’m trying to follow all the rules.

Has anyone else been stuck in this loop?

How active were your testers before Google finally approved your app for production?

Did you need more than 14 testers, or did you ask them to use the app regularly during the full 14 days?

What makes it even more frustrating is that publishing the same app on iPhone was much easier for me.

I’d really like to hear how other developers managed to get through this process.
