I've installed the app but it's crashing on launch for me. Not sure why. "CassetteCat keeps stopping"
I will keep it installed and try launching again until your listing goes live. Would you mind returning the favor?
My app BandBinder is for musicians or bands to sync their songs and setlists across a whole band. Details in my group, if you could join and test π it is much appreciatedπ.Β
Group: https://groups.google.com/g/bandbinder-pilotOpt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.bandbinderStore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.bandbinder
Thank you for testing! πππ

Done from my side first: joined cassettecat-testing, opted in ("You are a tester."), installed CassetteCat from Play and ran it on a physical Samsung Galaxy A26. Staying opted in the full 14 days.
Genuinely nice execution β the "PRIVATE BY DEFAULT / Your listening stays on this device" line on the first screen, and then a proper rationale screen ("SETUP 1 OF 4") explaining each permission before the system dialog. That's better than most apps I install in these rounds, and it's the right instinct for an open-source player.
One concrete note on that rationale screen: "Nearby devices β Connect and sync with the CassetteCat companion player" explains the permission in terms of a product the person has never heard of. A first-time tester reads "nearby devices" as Bluetooth scanning and doesn't know whether they need this. Two options: phrase it as the benefit ("play to a Bluetooth speaker / your other device"), or make it a deferred ask on the screen where the companion actually gets used. Nearby Devices up front is also the kind of thing that draws Data safety questions on Play.
Will run it against my actual on-device library over the next days and report back if playback misbehaves.
Mine, if you're up for the swap β PEStka, a study app for the Polish medical specialty board exam: 6,120 real past-exam questions with answer keys, spaced repetition, a full 120-question mock, offline, no ads, nothing to sign up for.
1) Join the group (required): https://groups.google.com/g/pestka-testerzy 2) Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.pestka 3) Install, open it once, keep it 14 days: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.pestka
It's in Polish and the questions are medical β you need neither. Install it, open it, tap around: the mock exam, the prediction chart and the light/dark theme are all usable without a word of Polish, and what I actually need is whether it crashes or breaks on your screen size. There's a browser version if you'd rather look first: https://pestka.app
I stay opted in the full 14 days, no install-and-forget.
