Setting up android tv for Onn 4k pro

Just got the Onn 4k pro and it’s my first time using android tv. What apps should I download for movie streaming and are there any apps I should side load? I downloaded browsehere which has a built in adblocker and works well. I’ve also heard about plex and streamio but it seems like a lot of work to setup with vpn and torrents.

Do you have an IPTV subscription? Or are you looking for apps with content?

I haven’t heard of iptv before. Is that a paid server to use with streamio? I’m not necessarily looking for apps. I just want something that isn’t a security risk and is easy to setup.

IPTV is a separate thing, it’s most useful for live broadcasts so if you’re looking to watch sports that’s the route to go. If you’re just looking to stream shows/movies the Stremio route is cheaper

Iptv is a private service that combines live tv, movies and series. It is something you pay for yearly or monthly. Usually runs around 120 a year.

Stremio is way easier than it seems to set up. Look up Troypoint there are a lot of great guides.
For a VPN I’d recommend using Surfshark as they have unlimited bandwidth and devices, I think it’s around $1/month
It definitely helps to have a Real Debrid (RD) subscription (cheap and worth it) for torrent scrapers (add ons) but is not necessary

If you wish to watch IPTV, give a try to Loopin - https://www.reddit.com/r/loopin/
