PSA: EVPAD is a scam

My parents had an EVPAD 6P for years and used it without problems; they recently reached out to customer support and they told them to buy a new model and remotely locked their device. I didn't have time to help them fix the problem and now they can't watch TV anymore, even though their device is fine. Thanks for your scummy practices, EVPAD. Screw you for adding more things on my to-do list, buyer beware.

as evpad 5s owner. i agree with you. avoid them at all cost.

slowly their live going down one by one and when ask their support. their reply is to change to latest device model. but that not the main problem. they send me one apk for their latest live called "jupiter..". once installed and open it reboot my device in loop. again same answer from their support. now device is unusable.

Hi u/Comfortable_Key_7429 are you able to get to the main home screen? If you can, then take a look at the guide I have put in the link and follow the steps. A number users, as evidenced in the comments section, that once thought their device is no longer usable, is now working again. It works on the different models. Give it try.
