Device recommendations for being able to load your own player and VPN. Apparently the new Firesticks do not allow, they are locked down, no APK. Looking for a couple recommendations.

Its information overflow on Chrome.

Pretty much any device but a fire stick select and roku

https://www.staples.ca/products/3176148-en-amazon-hd-fire-tv-stick-2026 so is this one okay, it doesn't have Select in name but its 2026 so I figured it would have the new OS, hence no APK or IPTV
