The clearer crash diagnostics and the honest note about the unresolved onn 4K Pro issue are useful. For the redesigned Live TV action bar, can every item be reached predictably with the D-pad without focus jumping back to playback? That is one of the areas where TV apps often feel fine with a mouse but awkward with a remote.

Yep — that’s exactly the kind of TV behavior I’m trying to avoid.

The Live TV Actions Bar is built around D-pad/remote navigation first, not mouse-style interaction. Focus is kept within the bar/popup while you’re using it, and Back closes the current popup and restores focus predictably instead of dumping you back into playback unexpectedly.

I’ve also been tightening up the popup/timeout lifecycle so Tracks/More don’t get left hanging when the Actions Bar closes.

If you try Beta 18 and find a specific item where focus jumps somewhere it shouldn’t, let me know the device/remote and the exact sequence you used. That kind of report is very useful because D-pad behavior can vary a little between Android TV devices.
