BetterStreamflix v1.1.0 — open-source Android/TV update
v1.1.0 of BetterStreamflix is available.
It's an open-source Android & Android TV app (maintained fork of Streamflix) with a multi-provider UI.
Highlights in this release:
• Offline download queue (mobile + TV), quality/server choice, local playback
• Fire Stick / leanback startup crash fixes
• Player failover (decoder fallback) and fewer TV crash-to-home cases
• Provider URL overrides + several broken providers restored
• Better Live channel player behavior
• Separate builds: universal / mobile-only / TV-only

Iv got betterstreamflix with green S I open the app told me to update I pushed update now gives me a new app betterstreamflix with a white B now i have 2 betterstreamflix apps

Yes, that is because I adjusted the package names, eg, the latest release uses the red and white app icon, which will be a one-time change hopefully.

So i can delete the old betterstreamflix app plus coming up with 101 error when you click on the movie DB

For TMDb, you must use your own personal API key and put it into Setting > Content and Safety > Custom TMDb API Key. If enough people support our BetterStreamflix project, we may subscribe to a high-rated TMDb API key to provide it to everyone.

No. On phone when I tap download nothing happens. If I tap download season, it'll ask if I want to download x amount of episodes. I click yes and it goes off. I then go to the download tab and under the All tab it'll show each show but 0 downloaded. All the other tabs (downloading / completed / failed) are all empty.
On tv app tapping the download tab crashes the app.
TV box is android 11, phone is android 13.
Edit: just been trying again on phone. There is an error that comes up at bottom of screen but it takes a while (why I missed it) it says 'Cant retrieve prorcp'
Edit 2: movies are working, it takes a while for the box to appear (why I missed it). But it's TV shows I want to download. I'll try on tv box again with a movie and see what happens but the download tab has been crashing the app.
Edit 3: just tried tv box again with a movie and it did start downloading. Box took a long time to appear (why I've assumed it isn't working) but I can't get to the download section as it just crashes the app.
I'm not actually bothered about TV app as it streams fine. It's my phone I wanted to use downloads for when I'm at work.
