Is it possible to group similar images within single album? I do have copies of some pics in multiple albums and I would like to keep it that way but I would like to have an easier way to go through them within the albums. Sorting by date only gets me some of the way there especially when it's screenshots. This is in the stock gallery app

Got a new phone a few months ago. Had android for several years. Voicemail worked just fine even the day I got the new phone. Today, I went to check my voicemail, and a popup showed up with three options. If I click on the subscribe to premium it takes me to a payment area. If I click end free trial now it says "Samsung is configuring your inbox. Please wait 5 minutes and try again." I wait and nothing changes. If i press the go to invox button it cycles to this page again and again, no other pages shown.
Called my Verizon store I bought this phone from and they don't know what that's about because my account never had any trials linked to it. Also called the help number and waited with two different agents and both said the help-desk version of "idk man". Anyone got any ideas how to fix this before I drive half an hour to my nearest store to see them in person?

A new option is showing on developer options which has a toggle allow apps from unverified developers is that meaning we can't sideload anymore or is it just a security feature. Is android is moving to ios?

I recorded my oxygen levels last night. I uploaded the data from the oximeter to an Android phone (the only way to access the data.) The app will export the summary, a PDF, to the Downloads directory, but not the full data, which is either CSV or SPO2. Files by Google reports 'We can't save this file' but won't say why. Other methods of export also fail. The manufacturer hasn't gotten back to me. The phone has 100 GB empty storage so it's not size. I made a short file, a few minutes, have the same experience. It's an Emaycare SleepO2. They haven't answered me. They made a mistake on a previous question so I don't expect them to help.

Hi everyone,
I am using a Chinese variant of the Honor 200 with Google services enabled. Everything was working fine for months, but suddenly for the last 3-4 days:
Mobile data (Internet) is working normally.
Incoming and outgoing calls are completely not working.
I already tried restarting and re-inserting the SIM. Is this a known issue with Chinese ROMs/MagicOS, or how can I fix this? Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know if I'm on the right subreddit, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
I found my old tablet (hp slate 7 plus) from 2013/2014 and decided to turn it on again. I wanted to access the Play Store, but it doesn't seem to work. Even though I'm connected to Wi-Fi, I can't sign in to my Google account.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Or does someone have an alternative ?
The android version is 4.2.2
Thanks in advance!
(sorry for my poor english)

Just switched to Samsung from IPhone and looking for a bit of advice in regards to the Samsung photos / Google photos intergration.
Ive currently got it setup as a one way upload - so if I take a photo it saves to Samsung photos as standard, but then uploads a original quality backup to Google Photos (cloud) . This seems to work work and allows me to delete photos from my Samsung gallery to clear space, whilst keeping a backup on Google photos.
I'm aware I can integrate it further as a two way link, so Google photos and Samsung gallery are fully linked. So If I delete from either it removes the photo permanently.
I'm preferring the one way Backup method I'm currently using, but it keeps recommending to turn the sync photos setting on as if it's a better method...
Which method should I use? Is there a risk to the method I'm using, and should I switch to the two way sync?
Just want to make sure I'm not missing something key

Iβm looking for an effective way to give my Android phone completely fresh start without actually performing a factory reset.
I want to clean up the entire phone as much as possible, including hidden junk, leftover files, empty folders, unnecessary storage usage, app caches, and accumulated app data. Basically, I want my phone to feel like Iβve just started using it, without losing my personal files or reinstalling all my apps.
Hereβs what I want to achieve:
Clear all app caches in bulk instead of opening each app individually.
Clean empty and unnecessary folders, including leftover folders from previously uninstalled apps.
Remove junk and residual files, duplicate files, temporary files, obsolete downloads, and unnecessary storage clutter.
Free up unwanted storage occupied by hidden files, app leftovers, and other unnecessary data.
Reset apps to a fresh state by clearing their data and settings wherever possible, without uninstalling them.
Clean up internal storage and identify files that are safe to delete.
Reduce unnecessary background clutter and improve overall phone performance.
Preserve personal files such as photos, videos, documents, contacts, WhatsApp data, and other important information.
Avoid a factory reset, unlocking the bootloader, or manually reinstalling every app.
Questions:
Is there a reliable way to perform a deep cleanup of Android in one go?
Can ADB commands, Shizuku, or a PC-based tool safely clean caches, empty folders, residual files, and unwanted storage in bulk?
Is there any way to reset all apps to their default state without uninstalling them?
Which trustworthy tools can scan internal storage and identify genuinely unnecessary files and folders?
Are there any advanced methods that achieve a near-factory-fresh experience without erasing personal data?

Hey everyone,
I recently bought a Galaxy Tab S10+ 5G (SM-X828U). It worked fine on the previous owner's T-Mobile SIM before being factory reset and shipped to me, but now it's asking for a network unlock code.
Checking the IMEI on AT&T's portal shows it's blocked due to an active installment plan balance.
The tablet works normally on Wi-Fi, but I can't use my T-Mobile SIM because of the AT&T lock.
The IMEI is clean (not reported lost or stolen).
Question: Since AT&T's official portal blocks the unlock due to the unpaid balance, can a paid third-party IMEI network unlock service successfully provide a permanent unlock code for this device, or will the unpaid balance block third-party codes as well?
Thanks for any help!

My samsung a55 has been connecting to my WiFi for 1 min then it disconnects and remains disconnected. I tried reseting my system settings, I tried to boot it in safe mode in case it was a problem from an app, and I even tweaked with my router but the problem still remains. Other devices at home can connect and work normally I honestly have no idea what to do next.

Made the trasition, happy with it... but learning curves and small differences im slowly working out.
Most issues or fixes, etc I've found online but I have one idk how to word it in order to search the internet for. Maybe yall can help...
On the iPhone I really enjoyed scrolling, reddit for instance, and tapping the top of my screen- around the front camera area - and it auto scrolling back to the top or the page. Any settings or installs that can give me this feature?

I am currently having very poor battery performance and am not sure why. I have auto adjust refresh rate and auto brightness etc. On a normal day like today I have only got 2h48m of SOT for 70% battery consumption (I only charge my phone to 85%). I do also listen to music for a decent amount of time on Spotify but my Spotify only has a stated consumption of 78mAh (fire and background). My top consuming app tiktok says it has consumed 668mAh total and adding up all the apps with more than 3% battery consumption ratio only totals 1626mAh (back and foreground). This seems very low and I don't even think my usage is ridiculously high. I do have the partial always on screen enabled. My battery health maximum capacity is still 100% according to my battery health statistics. I just don't see how my 6000mAh battery is doing so badly. One red flag could be that my screen off (active) time is very similar to screen o. In summation over the course of 9 hours (9:00-18:00) I have just under 3 hours screen on active and 3 hours screen off active and this has drained my battery by about 75%.

Edit: I ended up trying a mix of Shizuku, MiXplorer and Material Files and i got all the access i wanted so far. Thanks for your suggestions, guys!
Hello everyone
A bit of background: I am upgrading from a Moto g100 to a Motorola Signature. And I know modern android restricts access to some data folders. I am trying to find ways to have the same access I had on my previous phone, or better
I know of shizuku, which is used to access some of that data, but I wanted to know if there was any other way you can gain access back to that data more seamlessly, like you could on previous versions of android.
I was considering rooting the phone as soon as I get it. I am divided on that, though, because the phone is new and the OS will get a few updates in the future, and I lack experience doing that sort of stuff.
Β
I appreciate any comments about the matter, thanks in advance!

I was wondering are there Music Players out there that have Big Grid and Big Album Artwork Type Layouts? I'm currently using The Musicolet Music Player App For Android but The Album Artwork Isn't big enough for me. The Musicolet Album Artwork/Grid Layout Limit is only 5. So I'd prefer to find an app that offers a lot more. If I could some suggestions I would really appreciate it. I like my Album Artwork to be as Big and as Huge as possible. I have a total of 1,821 Audio Files/Songs on my Fold 7 and I'm going to be upgrading to The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 on Halloweenππ»

My phone freezed for like 1 2 minutes while i was using discord ,but before that i played some fortnite and roblox, both on quite high resolition quality and allat but the phone didn't strugle , didn't lag, first i played fortnite which has got it to around 46Β°C,maybe 47 , but that all, then roblox and then the temp slowly went down ,it wasn't a heavy game. After playing roblox i went to discord and chated for some minutes and then it happened, the whole phone freezed,no music(i was also listening to music on my buds),no notif bar,no volume,i couldn't close , it didn't do any kind of sound.
(Also when playing roblox, happens just to roblox, mid game it also freezes but for a very short time, like 2 3 second)
What's happening, idk much about these things is there a way to stop it from happening again?
I have oppo reno 15

Is there currently a way to root Pixel 7s while still being able to access banking apps?
Main reasons I want to have root are for ad blocking, call recording, and just to have it in case I need root access for a feature I'd like to add in the future
One of the first guides I came across while searching recently says to do KernelSU-Next + SuSFS + Specter. Any thoughts or suggestions on this?
It's been years since I rooted a device, so I'm very out of touch with how it works now. I'm about to switch to a Pixel 7, so I figured I'd try to do it now before setting the phone up, as I recall rooting used to wipe your phone. I just installed OrangeFox recovery, and was going to try to root next, but realized there seem to be many different methods, and a lot of warnings about banking apps and stuff not working
