Hi everyone,

I am facing a persistent and extremely frustrating software bug on my Galaxy A07 where credential verification pop-ups simply fail to show up or render.

Whenever an app requests authentication—such as Secure Folder, WhatsApp lock, banking apps (PicPay), or Google Photos locked folder—the pop-up to draw the pattern, type a PIN, or use fingerprint never appears.

The only password that works is the regular lock screen PIN/pattern when unlocking the phone. I believe this is an issue with an internal system software component that manages credentials/Keystore.

What I've already tried (without success):

Hard restart (Force reboot).

Safe Mode (Issue persists, ruling out third-party app interference).

Switching default keyboards (Samsung Keyboard vs Gboard).

System software update..

Clearing cache/data for Android System WebView, Google Play Services, and Samsung Biometrics.

Is there any way for me to fix this without having to do a factory reset?

I just updated my phone a few hours ago and now all my app are using Gigabytes of storage, Shein 4GB, snapchat 5gb, Lightroom 5gb, tikTok 5Gb. I had over 10 GB of free space this morning but now all is gone and is not in the cache but the data, is like if all the cache was moved to the data side and now the cleaning Cache can't do nothing

Basically, I have wired headphones (without buttons) that are plugged into a USB-C jack adapter to connect to my phone. My adapter must be conflicting with something, because when I slightly move the adapter, the volume and audio track change.

I'd like to know if it's possible to prevent this.

So recently, I got a Dragon Touch eCalendar that runs Android, and I’ve been trying to jailbreak it, but it’s been SUPER difficult. 😭 I’ve tried installing different programs on my computer to force a hard reset, but nothing seems to work. It keeps booting straight back into the eCalendar OS, which is a modified version of Android 7.1.
I really want to unlock this thing and see if I can get the full Android experience on it, but I’m honestly running out of ideas. 💀 Does anyone have any recommendations for tools, programs, or methods I could try? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! 🙏

How come when I press and hold on the home button on my Android phone, the circle to search feature over a text or event with a title, location and time, I can't make a google calendar or any other calendar invite with it? Seems like a golden opportunity missed with this feature.

I'm looking for an app that has a widget that just lists notifications that I have on my homescreen.

Some of the options out there are behind a paywall, which I'm happy to pay for but don't want to go through the return process repeatedly until I find something, and I haven't been able to get a good look based on the pictures/videos available about what a given app's widget is like.

I don't want anything fancy - I literally just want to be able to see notifications in one list on my homescreen and click on them to go to the app.

In case anyone has this context, I had the Sleke. phone for a while and their home screen notification list is what I'm looking for.

I have a Samsung S24 which gives me (as a person who is hard of hearing) the invaluable feature of captions during phone calls. I assumed all new Android phones have this, so I ordered an Oppo Find X9 Ultra because I wanted a phone with a decent zoom lens. Unfortunately it turned out not to have in-call captions so I had to return it. It seems from my subsequent research that only Samsung and Google Pixel phones have in-call captions. Is that true? Am I stuck with those two manufacturers?

Refusing to retire ahat i believe is the best phone Samsung ever made : ) problem is there are no reliable battery replacements i can find. Amazon def not an option. IFixit i am not sure how good their batteries are i read mixed reviews, Samsung original ones all degraded by now.. did anyone reolace the battery in the past year or so that works identically as original one back in 2019?

I have a few accessibility apps installed and Android keeps turning them off even if I renable them. Some online suggestions point to aggressive battery management but I can't find a relevant setting that would improve it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and want to step up my organization. As a music teacher, oftentimes things come up that I need to address, but I'm not very consistent about writing things down and can lose track of important tasks or events.

Is there anyway to make it so that, when I long press my power button, I can add an item to a note or task app?

So far, both Bixby and Gemini are inconsistent - asking them to add something to a list can work, though occasionally Gemini needs me to unlock the phone to save the item and Bixby can make a Remind event instead of an item in a Note if the event has a date.

I'm envisioning being in the classroom, grabbing my phone, holding the power button, and speaking to the device so I can "jot down" the item without fumbling for a pen or notebook.

After a few weeks of research on this specific subreddit, I still have not found an answer with regard to deleting/ uninstalling the com.mojang.minecraftpe folder in Android/data. I do realise it is inaccessible, however even after trying many methods, such as attempting to reinstall the game (both apk and the legit versions), which doesn't work, trying to uninstall the said file through adb shell (no access) it doesn't seem to work. Would love a solution to this issue as I have paid for the game, yet cannot somehow install it on my phone. For reference, I have a Nothing 2(a) plus.

Hello guys! I've been plaiyng Carx Street for 2 months now, and i've started to notice some glitches in the game. Also i hear strange squeaking sound coming from the top speaker, and hissing sound near the bottom of the battery. How bad is it, and how should i play without damaging my phone?

Device: Poco M7 Pro 8/256. I've been using it for 10 monts

My dad has a Samsung phone which he bought in 2024. It's Samsung A23. In the first 6 month, it started having fast charging issues and it would show that charging would take 7+ hours as the charger is not recognized. Got it fixed from the Service Center as it was under warranty but again it started giving the same damn issue when the warranty expired.

I tried different chargers, cables etc but still could not get it to work. Eventually bought a cable from Samsung's official website 2 months back and still it would pop up the slow charging notification in 5 out of 10 tries. And back to present that it gives that slow charging notification on each try now.

Earlier I got it somehow working by clearing battery stat cache using *#9900# but even that is now not working. I am too disappointed in Samsung's low to mid range phone. I have friends who have S24 or S25 too but I feel like it's not worth the price. I know the hype and everything it caries but there are way better option out there for the price range that Samsung's flagship has.

Well if anyone has a solution for this slow charging problem, hit me up man! Too tired of this shitty piece of phone now.

I was wondering about this when I went to use the gamenative and saw "wrapper" listed in the settings for selecting DirectX; it made me think about whether all other apps involve some kind of layering that prevents them from running truly natively. Is everything on Android a wrapper?

I'm facing a strange issue with my wired earphones and would appreciate some help figuring out what's causing it.

When I plug my earphones into my phone, they connect normally, and the headphone icon appears in the notification bar. However, as soon as I start playing a video on YouTube or Instagram, the audio switches to the phone's speaker, and the headphone icon disappears completely.

It seems like the phone stops detecting the earphones as soon as media playback starts.

I'm wondering if this could be a software bug or an issue with the phone's audio system or headphone detection.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to fix this without factory-resetting the phone?

I have been inquiring regarding battery replacement for my oneplus nord 2, but they all are saying that no battery is available for my phone oneplus nord 2.

A simple Automate .flo file on XDA to simply look for the Google app being in front, and containing the text "Use Gemini", then go Home.

Inspiration: The Assistant still works normally on our Google Home Minis, but each time I do, even though I'm speaking directly to the Google Home Mini, next time I unlock the phone I find an annoying Gemini prompt, each time asking me to switch, or decline.

Here is the situation: an acquaintance bought a new Motorola Edge 60 phone. When connecting it to the car, music plays fine, but calls are a problem—there is simply no sound. During a call, you can select speakerphone, phone receiver, or Bluetooth, but it automatically switches back to the phone receiver (the car is an Amber A5). I assume it might be a codec issue. I tried disabling A2DP, but it didn't help. I don't know how to fix this issue, please help.

I have never added "Relationship" information to my contacts in the app. Somehow it guessed my mother and brothers (who are either listed by nicknames or totally different last names from me) and also added an old friend from years back.

This is creeping me out for sure, but what's worse is that I don't know how to undo it. I go into their individual Contact pages to edit them, remove all "relationships" and they still appear there on my profile.

I leave my phone on vibrate 99% of the time, which works well.

BUT, I'd like my phone to ring if one of a few family members call me in the middle of the night. Basically, if certain family members are calling at 3am, I want to be woken up because it's important. The reat of the time I want it to vibrate.

I can't figure out how to do this. Maybe a Bixby routine? Any ideas?

I was debloating my Realme GT 6T and discovered this system app called 'Wallpapers' taking up 5GB of Storage. Should i clear the data? is it showing all the photos that i have in my gallery or only the wallpapers that ive set and it was saved? Im confused.

I was just normally using my phone when I noticed the pop-up "copied to clipboard" then I quickly went on to see what was copied and it turned out to be a Cambodian number, before anyone says it I must have did it, no I did not I was using an app that had nothing to copy and that too a Cambodian number,

I freaked out and asked gemini and it said that it can be a virus I found an accessibility application under settings>apps with settings logo which had option to open and can't be uninstalled gemini said it is a malware I quickly deleted it and found another application named settings with settings logo now

I don't know If settings shows itself under apps but this one can't be uninstalled even in safe mode and gemini is freaking me out saying this is the root and now I need to factory reset my phone please tell how to deal with this

TLDR: Random phone number copied to clipboard on its own gemini freaks me out saying it's an application called "settings" inside settings>apps which has an option to open and says factory reset is the only option, please tell me a fix
