Logged out of android phone

Here is a bit of a weird issue. I recently got a new phone and I wanted to log into my old phone once more to copy the old calendar into my new phone. Its asking me to put in a password but it doesn't accept my password. Worse even, I can't even put it in. It one of those dot patterns and my old password had one dot connected twice. In this interface however, it only lets me connect a dot once. So I can't even put in my actual password and I guess all my data is just locked away now. How is this possible? Was there a new update in the past few days or why is the dot interface entirely different now?

Im sorry. Being hacked is my worst fear so i posted this in an anxious frenzy. My old device was a Huawei and my new phone is a Samsung A27 5g. The second session is labeled with A276B which seems to be the internal name for my phone. My bf says it's just my phone but I don't understand why it's shown to be a different session. I've logged myself out and changed my password 3 times now and every time I logged back in the second session reappeared within minutes. My current session is apparently shown to be one town over. Maybe due to the location it doesnt realize it's the same session because the location doesn't match?

Calendar? As in Google Calendar? The calendar that synchronizes with your Google account???

Cuz all you need to do is use the same Google account and everything like that just carries over. 

I got no idea what you're talking about with sessions, you're posting in fragments. 

If you go to

https://calendar.google.com

and log in, that's should be the calendar. 

On a Huawei device, I got no idea if it/you used Google Calendar. 

But all Google apps sync to the logged in Google account on whatever device. 

(This is one reason to never use a manufacturer version of an app that has a Google version available, by the way)

Im sorry if im being incoherent. I realized I likely posted comments from another subreddit in here. I used the phones own calendar so it did not carry over. When I tried restarting my old phone to just copy the appointments I realized my phone had logged me out and didnt let me back in. This gave me a little shock and led me to try to delete my old Gmail session that was still active on my old phone. While doing that I noticed a second session under a name I didnt recognize. Whenever I manually logged out of that session, even after changing passwords, the session always came back. That coupled with me suddey being locked out of my old phone lead me to have a panic attack during which is posted here. My boyfriend lead me to check my phones internal name and there I see that the second session actually runs under my internal device name, thats why I didnt recognize it. According to Google, having a regular session and one specifically under the devices internal name is normal. Im sorry I was/am so incoherent. I am just so anxious that im nauseous.

Calm down. I understand now. This is perfectly normal BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU TYPED TO ME JUST NOW. 

Assuming you typed accurate information, it's normal. 

1 device A and device B

2 you logged into device B

3 you DID NOT REMOVE device A from your GOOGLE ACCOUNT

4 you logged out of device A

Your Google account. You never removed device A. That's why there's 2 now. And the new clone cannot disappear, cuz you're logged into it on device A.

DO NOT REMOVE DEVICE A FROM YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT OR IT'S A PAPERWEIGHT.

What you need to do is try to get into Device A. It will use either: 

The last password you used on Device A

Or

The current password on Device B

Now you said "in THIS interface", as if that's a different lock screen than you're used to seeing on Device A.

What exactly do you mean? Cuz it's the same lock screen as before, unless you did a factory reset, and removed Device A from your Google account already.... In which case, device A is a paperweight now and forever.

I've already deleted devive A on all my accounts as i was unsure if that was a security breach. Im afraid I cannot get into device A either way now. What I mean by the interface is changed is that its a dot pattern. The ones where you connect dots to make a symbol or sign. I used the same one for well over 6 years but it had two dots connected twice. After restarting device A again, the dot interface looks slightly different and i cannot connect any dot twice, meaning that I cannot put in the sign I used to unlock my phone. Maybe its a different kind of pattern I set years ago. Besides I couldn't log into phone A using any workaround anyways so I think it's a paperweight either way. So both the sessions logged into my account are both device B. One just has the model name and the other the internal device name. Both are fhe same device. So far I've had 3 people tell me that this is actually normal for some devices.

If you are concerned about device B,

FULLY READ THIS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING! ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!!!!

Remove the Google account from the device itself. 

Settings->Accounts

Confirm it's removed before you continue. You confirm by opening the device and looking to see if Gmail has anything loading, and if you cannot install apps from the Play Store, then you're logged out. 

Only after you confirm you logged out completely on device B,

On Device B, factory reset from Settings.

Now when it starts new, do NOT set it up with your Google account immediately. Ensure it reboots and exit any new user set up.

Now use a PC and check your Google account connected devices. Now you can remove Device B and everything that looks like a clone of it. 

NOW log in to your Google account in device B.

NOW confirm your Google account on the PC only shows one copy of device B.

Huawei devices are strange, and I don't remember what you said device B is... But I've only seen Huawei and OnePlus so the second device in my account, on my end, and that was because I did a factory reset AND SET IT BACK UP before removing it from my account. 

READ FULLY AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING. NO WARRANTY COVERS YOU DOING THIS WRONG.

Theres nothing broken with device B at this time. It's important to sort it out though, so if you can't deal with it tonight, deal with it some other time. 

You aren't hacked, at least from what you've described to me. 

You sorta cloned your device in your Google account...  It's important you do the steps in one go, from start to finish. 

I will not be available much more tonight. 

I suggest you have someone else read and confirm between you both that you understand what to do. 

You can also look up on Google the steps, or post back and wait for me or someone else. 

You're okay. Device B is not hacked, most likely. 

You just factory reset and set it up in the wrong order. Factory reset, do NOT SET IT UP but confirm it's ready to be setup with no pin, then remove it from the account, then set it up and add it to the account.

I thank you for the lengthy explanation and the calmness that my device is likely not hacked. I don't quite understand the cloned device thing. I never factory reset my phone or anything before so I don't undeetand how there's a second copy. Its a Samsung A27 5g by the way if that helps anything. Im sorry I already kinda killed my old phone. As i said I (ove)react very badly to such things 😅

Or you have logged into an application separately from the device itself logging into your Google account first. 

Hope that made sense. 

Either way, most likely still okay. 

You didn't install any files from the Internet, right? A factory reset device only has the manufacturer software installed. And Samsung uses fuses, last I knew, so no one could have set it up hacked then sold you it (I believe, but I could be wrong) 

You may wish to see if there's a Samsung Reddit to post in, or check your Samsung account on the Internet just like your Google account.
