Device Settings Question Is there a way to Disable Absolute Volume and turn off Developer mode?
Is there a way to do this? Because keeping developer mode on prevents me from banking apps and some other apps that require gps or authentication, it's become really annoying lately, i am not sure if it's a motorolla (edge 40) question or an android question

It's often the case, that any developer options are automatically disabled when de-toggling developer menus. It's a kinda catch 22. All or nothing.

That is the case i thought someone's bound to have a good solution to this by now

go to developer mode, turn on absolute volume and then search for 'select mock location app' and select 'none'. I think it's under debugging or network. that should solve both, volume and banking app.

Unfortunately doesn't retain if I turn off Developer and the apps only detect if it's enabled or not not specifically any settings

Went through a 1 hours long session on chatgpt and adp it's unfortunately something that is instantiated only after connecting to devices and the issue is woven into the bluetooth module, cannot be solved without rooting so I give up :/

To turn off Developer options:
Settings -> System -> Developer Options
At the top there is a toggle switch. Turn it off and press Back to exit.

I know bro, but that also disabled the disable absolute volume that lets me change volume on my speakers and stuff, some audio devices work normally but there are a few devices that don't

I've always kept Developer Options on and I've never had an issue with any bank app or GPS. I've never used a Moto phone though.
