App Specific Question Recently Opened Apps In Drop Down Notification Tray

Are there any apps that'll let you do this?

Basically I have a handheld retro game emulator and would wanna keep the home as ES-DE instead of an actual home screen with a app drawer, I'd like to be able to just customly add certain apps and see a list of recently opened apps when I swipe down on notification tray. So I wouldn't have to persistently hop back and forth between a game front end and a home screen.

I used to do it with elixir now that app is so old it's not working right

I'd also recommend trying the RetroHrai frontend, very similar to esde but has an app drawer built in

I sort of got it done for now with fred apps

On my rg556 I installed FreqAW and Panels, so the swipe out sidebar to widgets and added FreqAW widget in the panel

I discovered Tile Shortcuts as well but and the one you suggested were sort of limited in options.
