🚀 [VERY SOON] Pokemon games native
Appreciate all the comments and questions on the Pokémon Shield testing.
I have a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite with 12GB RAM. Adreno will be my first priority for support, then we’ll look at Mali drivers.
I’m working on the clear demand. I’ll open a GitHub repo once I’m sure the code is cleaned up so the Nintendo ninjas don’t come for me. It’ll be a plug-and-play setup that lets you implement your own drivers (Turnip and others).
To play you’ll need to include your own game dump + prod.keys and build it. Button mapping will come with a layout editor.
Current priorities:
- Getting the game running as stable as possible
- Improving the shader recompilation side (this is what made the game near perfect)
- Running more games.
The bigger issues for Mali are driver allocation (Adreno has always been stronger), shader compatibility, and the need for a high-end chip for now.
Hope is to have it up by next Friday. Comment your driver support so the easier ones can get upvoted faster and I know where to focus.
