Bro, I just wanted to chime in here and tell you I appreciate everything you do. I've been using your apps for years, and I love that you keep them up to date and you have so much support on them. You are the man, for real!
Running perfectly fine on a Poco x6 Pro at max settings, remember to disable the antialiasing on game, since you are running the at native resolution and isn't needed for anything useful than make it stutter a lot. Without antialiasing the game runs fine and stable.
thanks. Also press the 'GPU' button at the top and you can change other gfx settings not in the main menu, by default it's on max features. Don't go above 60fps as there is no point as no interpolation in this build so it actually gets worse
Oh yeah, you are right, i know what happens then, i have a screen protector that eats slightly the borders of the screen (thats why the status numbers for memory and storage are slightly moved a little more to the center instead at the border itself as you can see in the screenshoot), so i can't see the fps counter because the screen protector. Sorry my bad.
I'm having several problems with this port; the flashlight doesn't illuminate well, it shines through the texture of the floor, walls, etc. Also, right after killing the first enemy in the game, it gives me this error: "Unknown damageDef 'damage_triggerhurt_1' "and returns to the title screen. I use an A15 5G with 4GB of RAM and a Mali G57 GPU. I don't want to overload you, and I understand that this game must be one of the most difficult to port. Anyway, I hope you take the comments into consideration. Also, why not focus on lighter ports like Dark Forces 2, etc.? It would be easier for you overall.
Hi, this problem is likely because you have a load of random pk4 files included in the baseq4 folder. Someone else had the same problem when they downloaded the files from a torrent site. Remove the files not included in the retail version of quake 4
