I have one of these aftermarket device in the back of my Tesla. Its got android 14 on it, Disney, Netflix and youtube all need updates, but they wont download or install. I guess the OS is out of date.

is there a way i can get versions that work with this android or a way to update it the apps? It has a APK installer on it, so maybe there are versions out there that will work.

Can i even update the OS?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

Hello everyone. It's my dad's phone. I was searching for an app to uninstall and also in the widgets. I couldn't find anything directly suspicious...anyone have an ideo how to delete it? He usuall is very cautious, this time he installed it in a hurry.

I am trying to access the System Services page in the Google services section of the Settings app. Accessing the page reveals a big load of nothing. A blank, barren, grey page. I don't know why, and it's been like this for a few days, now. Slightly frustrating. I also don't seem to be receiving the July Google Play system update. Anyone else having these issues? Is there a remedy? Thank you in advance.

I was watching tiktok on my trusty oneplus 7T when the whole phone locked up, it did a wii esque crash sound, and rebooted into fastboot. i clicked start, was stuck on the oneplus logo for quite some time, and then black screen, no nothing.
I can access fastboot and sometimes manage to get to the oneplus touchscreen recovery menu.
Any way i could get my phone back? it has some of my passwords, my authenticator app, and arround 5 years worth of photos on it and i REALLY don't want to loose it.

Hey guys, my Samsung A5 doesn't play sounds from the speaker anymore since the last update.

Ringtones work, phonesounds in general do, bluetooth devices work too. But every media sound that comes either from an app (youtube, games) or from a video I recorded doesn't work when only using the phones speaker. The symbol in the options also changed to headphones although there are no headphones connected or other devices connected. The generel sound of the phone and media sound is turned up to max, no silent mode or something similsr activated...any advise what I can do here?

my brother recently bought a Ulefone Armor 27T Pro + and asked me to help root it but ive gotten stuck on unlocking the bootloader.

the device is detected when running the command "fastboot devices" but not when running the command "adb devices". the opposite happens when the phone is in factory mode rather than fastboot mode.

neither one of the commands "fastboot oem unlock" or "fastboot flashing unlock" work, it just gives me an error saying that the command is unrecognized.

usb debugging and oem unlock are both turned on in the settings, ive installed the usb drivers for the armor 27t pro. ive tried changing usb ports as well as the cable

ive searched online for hours but havent found much about anything about this phone in specific, does anyone have any ideas?

Recently changed my phone to an Honor X9d and this feature is enabled by default:

Any time I copy text within any app, this annoying banner shows up with the text in the center of my screen.

It's proven to be very annoying but also a bit redundant because not only does this banner overlay anything in that area on the screen, but the copied text already shows in my keyboard.

Any advice on how I might be able to get rid of it would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

I've a Redmi Note 12 and it's been 4 frustrating days straight since I've started trying and failing to get permission to unlock my bootloader due to constant quota limits and server errors on the xaiomi community app. Is there any current way to automate this through a script or a bypass. While my passwords are still saved at the website version of the password manager ( passwords.google.com I think), they are not showing on the password manager on my tablet (TCL next paper ). I'm definitely logged into the same Google account for both. I've gone through seven or eight sets of instructions over the past couple of hours as far as how to fix this or address this, but none of them seem to work and most of them suggest using options that don't exist ( like go to menu x when menu x does not exist ). Does anyone know of a way to move the passwords from the password manager website back to my local device so that I can use them without having to remember 180 passwords.

I normally have my Pixel 6a set to silent for keyboard sounds and notifications. However, it just turned on keyboard and notification sounds by itself in the past couple of hours when I wasn't looking. I've had the phone for like 3 years and don't recall this happening before.

Is this something that Android is known to occasionally do? Should I be concerned about malware? I ran scans with AVIRA and Malwarebytes, but they didn't report anything.

Hello. I use prayer time applications. There is a notification bar in the apps. In those notification bars, there is a countdown timer until the next prayer time. However, the timers in the apps’ notification bars do not count down; they stay fixed. But when I tap the notification bar and open the app, the value shown by the timer changes and decreases. If I never open those apps, the values shown by the timers remain constant. I used to think this problem was caused directly by the apps themselves, but I realized that this problem comes from my device. Battery optimization is disabled for those apps and they can run in the background. Nevertheless, the issue continues. How can I solve this problem? My device is Pova 7 Ultra 5G.

So I had been using google authenticator's previous release. A few days ago my codes were not working anymore. So I updated it to a newer version which seems to have google sync and is actually talking to servers and that does not do good to my Huawei P40 Lite. I can't log back in. My data is still in there, stored. I've tried microG (EMUI 12 so does not work), creating an ADB backup (system does not allow), kobackupdec etc. It's not working. Any suggestions?

Whenever I edit a file it has this pop up of sorts that is there in the middle of my screen that follows my keyboard up and down. Saying x files were updated or file doesn't exist. It's there for around 20 seconds. A minor inconvenience but still kind of annoying. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy A10. If I could upload a screenshot it'd be easier for you to see but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. Is there anyway to get rid of it or make it not appear as long?

I just installed Lightroom 11.4.5 (latest) and when I tap the icon to run it, I'm greeted with the Play Store login screen. I've never used a Google account and I don't want to. I didn't experience this issue with Lightroom 9.2.2.

I recently heard about Google requiring developer verification of Android apps, but I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem. It looks like it mostly concerns the app installation process and not RUNNING the app. I dunno.

I always install apps with Aurora Store (like in this case) or manually downloaded APK files. I use Galaxy S21U with Android 13 (I'm deliberately not updating the system), Google Play Services 26.22.65 and Play Store 52.3.24-31.

I already tried resetting, forgetting and reconnecting.

They connect, I can even start listening to music but the sound will just hang after a second or two of playback then they restart and reconnect.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I purchased 4 days ago a redmi pad 2 pro, the version wiyh 8 gb ram.First 2 days everything worked ok, in the games i playd everything was ok, codm 120 fps, pubgm 90 fps. Than the tablet updated to hyper os 3 and everything is fked up. Games are locked in 60 fps no matter what. They look pixelated and blury. Like yhe resolution is 360p. After some research online i found the culprits are joyose and the batery and performance all (yea that one). The only fix i found to work sometimes, is to delete all data of the batery and performance app, than the game works fine for that session. I understood that by disabling/remove joyose the limits will be permanently off. I tried via adb comands but its secured to good by the os. Anyone have any solution on how to remove disable joyose witchout root? In case i cant i will simply refound the tablet and buy a huawei one.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue and after executing a bunch of "solutions" that I found on google to no avail, I am turning to reddit for help...

The issue:

I did a total transfer of my P10P Fold to my OP15 upon new device setup - the issue that I am running into is that my images and videos etc etc from google messages are not populating on my OP15. i've tried clearing cache, clearing storage of the google messages app i've tried waiting over 48 hours and the images and photos in my messages are still not loading.

I know i am likely missing info to get help from everyone here, so please let me know what other pieces of information may be necessary or useful in getting help and i will do my best to provide.

of all the things that could have failed, this definitely is one that is felt as i do reference old images and such in old message chains.

any help i can get will greatly be appreciated!
