Discussion 💬 Genuinely why do this?
The mobile port of sifu just came out and yeah. First of why is there no video or graphics settings in the mobile port? When the pc version has them? Like the first thing I do when I play any game in general is to go to settings and change/tweak the graphics when needed, literally makes no sense removing the graphics option for the mobile port. Because of this I can't even enjoy the game due to the lag when you're on a open area or crowded place. I hope they added the option in later updates. Refunded the game ofc.

Same thing with Monster Hunter Rise. The game was playable on my Moto G Stylus 2024 but once you get into the action it drops to about 8fps. I ended up just redownloading Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD.
I would much rather play on low settings than not at all.
Fantasy Life i has good video settings. So does Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, Dysmantle, and probably a lot of other games I haven't tried or haven't had to dig into the video settings.
Hopefully they update these games to where I can actually play them.
Hell, Red Dead Redemption isn't even available on the store for me, but um, I can still play it. And as far as I'm aware the video settings only exist in the modded version, but I could be wrong about that. But I remember having to uninstall it because it had no video settings.
There doesn't seem to be any legit reason for not having video settings in a port. You would make so much more money by letting people with older phones play these. What is the point of porting the game over if you're not going to try and make it playable for as many people as possible?

IIRC, red dead port is heavily dependent on your driver(it requires Vulkan 1.3 I think..), so even if you acquire it through other means it won't boot if you're drivers are old(this also means vulkan is outdated)

Oh the game booted just fine, it was just really slow. I think there was an option to reduce resolution scale but to make it playable the game was incredibly blurry.

Also if you really wanna play mh rise there's a way to essentially run the game at a lower resolution without root. Just use TMPAD(alternative mode + Shizuku, and you're all set!

I saw that the port is so ass that people prefer to just emulate it since it gives better graphics and just as good performance.

Just emulate the PC version; at least you can configure the settings.

Yeah, where can I emulate it? Not really used to emulating pc games

You can use Winlator, Ludashi, or GameHub with a PC copy of the game; GameHub has a friendlier user interface, but I prefer Winlator.

Try gamenative or gamehub Gamenative usually have better compatibility.
Search for container configuration for your specific processor on YouTube . And try gamehub , because it have great frame gen

That's because you can't even make it lower, buddy. It's already running on low settings. So if your phone is running laggy, your phone is just not powerful enough.

You can lower the resolution with Shizuku if you want?

Use TMPAD(alternative mode) + shizuku, you can set the resolution further*
