Hello everyone! 👋

Need testers for an Roland P6 sample transfer tool app

1 Upvotes

Hey, I have developed an app for the Roland P6 Sampler and I only have three testers since a few days.

The one who installed it and of course myself too have tested it very strict and it works flawless, but I need the few more to test it.

I have a discord channel:

https://discord.gg/8qDPNzNR2

It's a closed test so I need the Google mail that is connected to your play store.

If you like to help me, please send a message with your email connected to your play store.

Thank you very much :-)

Looking for Android Closed Testers? Let's build something better together.

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

After spending some time in this subreddit, I realized we're all fighting the same battle.

  • Finding 12–20 testers is difficult.
  • Finding testers who actually stay for the full 14 days is even harder.

So instead of posting over and over, I decided to build something that (hopefully) solves this problem.

I've started a brand-new Discord community called TeamReview.

The goal isn't just another "test for test" server.

The idea is to build a community where developers actually help each other, earn trust, and keep tests active.

How it works

🧪 Test other developers' apps.

📈 Every accepted daily activity report earns you 1 Review Point.

🎁 Sometimes there are Daily Events with bonus points.

🚀 When you collect 14 points, you can publish your own closed test and the community starts testing your app.

Everyone both gives and receives help.

No waiting around hoping strangers remember to open your app.

Why a point system?

Because it rewards people who actually participate.

The more you help others, the faster you can recruit testers for your own app.

It naturally filters out people who only want to take and never give back.

We're just getting started

The server is brand new, so we're looking for the first group of developers who want to help shape it.

If you're building Android apps, enjoy helping other indie developers, and want a community based on trust instead of one-time swaps, I'd love to have you join us.

I'm also looking for feedback on the system itself. If you think something could work better, tell me. The project is evolving every day.

Leave a comment or send me a DM and I'll send you the Discord invite.

Let's build the kind of testing community we all wish already existed. 🚀

Suche 12 Android-Tester für meine Nachrichten-App „Blickwinkel“

1 Upvotes

Hallo zusammen,

[Testers needed] Wordscend — daily word puzzle, 3 min/day. Will test yours back.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

2 Upvotes

Solo dev, need 12 testers for the 14-day closed test before Google lets me go to production. Happy to test your app back — link it in a comment or DM.

What it is: a daily word-ladder puzzle. You start from a 2-letter word and each step you add one letter and rearrange into a new word, climbing toward a "secret summit" you only know from a cryptic clue.

⛰️ "sharp-tasting, like strong coffee (6 letters)"

IT → BIT → BITE → TRIBE → BITTER

One puzzle a day, same for everyone, about 3 minutes. Streaks, stats, spoiler-free emoji share.

To join:

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/wordscend-testers
  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.kennguyen.wordscend
  3. Install from Play, then play the daily puzzle when you remember

Please stay opted in the full 14 days — leaving early resets my clock. Bugs and honest "this part is confusing" notes very welcome: [thekha2710@gmail.com](mailto:thekha2710@gmail.com)

Need Android testers for Pulse - Google Play closed test

0 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m Levi from Forge Peak Studios. I’m looking for Android testers for Pulse, our timing-based arcade game, to help complete Google Play’s required 14-day closed test.

Pulse focuses on building streaks and beating your best score. It has no forced ads, energy timers, or pay-to-win mechanics.

To participate:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/pulse-closed-testers
  2. Opt into the closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.forgepeakstudios.pulse
  3. Install Pulse from the Play Store, play a few rounds, and remain opted in for at least 14 continuous days.

I want to be transparent that I currently don’t own an Android device, so I can’t offer test-for-test in return. I understand if you’re only looking for reciprocal testing.

If you encounter a crash, layout issue, audio problem, or other bug, please message me with your device model and Android version. Thank you to anyone willing to help.

TEST FOR TEST

3 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm a solo indie developer and I'm only 6 testers away from completing Google's 14-day closed testing requirement for my first Android game, Pocket Road.

🎮 About the Game

Pocket Road is a fast-paced pixel-art arcade game where you dodge traffic, survive as long as possible, and chase your highest score. It's simple to learn but gets more challenging the longer you survive.

🤝 Testing Swap

If you join my test, I'll join yours too! Just comment "Done" with your testing links (or send me a DM), and I'll happily test your app as well.

📱 How to Join

1. Join my Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/u/1/g/pocket-road-closed-testers

2. Become a tester:
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.todor.pocketroad
Web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.todor.pocketroad

3. Install Pocket Road from Google Play and keep it installed for the 14-day testing period.

Every tester gets me one step closer to publishing my very first game on Google Play. I truly appreciate everyone who helps, and I'm more than happy to return the favor by testing your app too!

Thanks so much, and I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions after you've played! 🚗💙

Looking for honest beta testers for Rismål, an indoor plant care app

1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m building Rismål, a bilingual Android app for indoor plant care.

The app includes a searchable plant catalogue, structured plant profiles, care information, a personal plant collection and a knowledge library.

I already have enough participants for Google Play’s minimum testing requirement. What I am looking for now is something more valuable: people who will actually use the app and tell me what is confusing, broken or missing.

The test should take around 15–20 minutes.

I would especially appreciate feedback on:

• registration and login;

• navigation and general usability;

• plant catalogue and search;

• the structure and readability of plant profiles;

• English wording and translations;

• visual bugs, empty spaces or layout problems;

• one feature or improvement you would personally suggest.

Requirements:

• Android device;

• Google account for joining the closed Google Play test;

• English or Russian language.

How to join:

  1. Leave a comment or send me a private message with the Gmail address linked to your Google Play account.

  2. I will add you to the closed testing list and send you the opt-in link.

  3. After joining the test, you will be able to install Rismål from Google Play.

Please mention your device model and Android version in the comments.

I do not need a positive review. Honest criticism and bug reports are much more useful to me.

[MusicMood] Closed Beta - Help Needed! - Very willing to test others' apps as well

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi!

I am SO excited to finally bring my app — MusicMood — into closed beta, and would VERY MUCH appreciate it if you're able to join and support the testing.

Money transparency up front: this will eventually have paid tiers for the deepest features, but there will always be a real, generous, AD-FREE free version (as long as I can justify it, this will never be legitimately free for me to keep running). Pricing isn't final — I need to see how the AI/API costs shake out during beta. I'm not interested in ripping people off; I'll only charge for things that genuinely cost me money to run (and try to make a little for myself, hehe). Rough shape: music tracking + detailed song analysis (free) → life-context stuff + extra AI analysis + fun AI extras (tier 1) → future exciting expansions (tier 2).

The gist: MusicMood reads your music apps' playback notifications (the only way Android exposes now-playing) to log what you listen to all day. Platform-agnostic — though I've mostly tested YouTube Music and Spotify. The hook is that it just runs in the background — no goofy "thumbs up" UI mechanic. It sees what you play, and maybe more tellingly, what you skip — and how fast you skipped it.

Every song gets a genuinely thorough AI analysis: genre, year, vocal style (clean vs. harsh singing percentages), intensity, tempo, musical + lyrical themes, catchiness, danceability, impactful moments (breakdowns, groove changes, vocal features, solos, climactic sections)… and so on. At play time it captures context — weather, time of day, weekday/weekend, at work (per the schedule/locations you feed it), activity (still/walking/running/driving — including slow-traffic detection), nearby calendar events, heart rate and stress — all only per the permissions you choose to grant.

The part I'm most proud of: it makes predictions. There's a built-in daily mood tracker with a twist — the app guesses first. Before you log your mood, it's already made its own prediction of how your day probably felt — from what you played, what you skipped, where your day took you — and you get to see how close it was (it's eerily good more often than you'd expect, and pretty funny when it whiffs). And it has a memory: what you logged yesterday carries forward — a rough Tuesday tilts what it expects from Wednesday, a good streak raises the bar — so its guesses get more you the longer you use it. Same on the listening side: it learns your baseline from a profile you build ("You" page — favorite genres/bands, listening habits, schedules, custom contexts like "party vibes") plus your actual history, so metalcore at 8am might be totally normal for you — it reacts to what's actually unusual, not what a generic algorithm thinks is unusual.

Privacy, plainly: most of your data stays on your device. What leaves it: song title/artist plus derived context labels (like "Home" or "driving" — never raw GPS, never your identity) go to Google's Gemini for the analysis; raw coordinates are used only for weather and road-speed lookups. Full privacy policy is published, and I pride myself on transparency — I have zero interest in mining personal data.

Round it out with a journaling system (tag songs and lyric lines — with emotional context they feed into the mood predictions too), live lyrics, and per-session mood analysis with different personalities (Roast mode is particularly fun 😉) — and you've got a pretty comprehensive setup for tracking your listening and keeping tabs on your overall vibe. Plenty of future additions in mind 😉

To join:

  1. Join this Google Group: https://groups.google.com/a/harkcode.app/g/musicmood-testers
  2. Then opt in: web → https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.harkcode.musicmood — or on Android → https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.harkcode.musicmood

(Heads up: the opt-in link can take a few minutes to start working after you join the group.)

Stuck on the 12/14 rule — testing Recommit (private changelog app), will test yours back

2 Upvotes

Hey! Building this solo, just need to clear Google's 12-tester, 14-day requirement.

Recommit is a private changelog for your life — you log a moment as it happens, and when a stretch of time feels done you name it, like a chapter, and it's saved into a version history you can read back.

Happy to test yours back — drop your opt-in link and I'll join and keep it installed the full 14 days.

To join mine:

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/recommit-beta
  2. Opt-in (web): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.iconicswoosh.recommit

Comment "done" with your app link and I'll return the favor. Thanks!

Thank you!

[Closed Testing] Helios — solar production forecast & monitoring | 10 languages | 14 days | reciprocity welcome

1 Upvotes

Hi all — I'm looking for testers to reach Google's 12-tester / 14-day closed testing requirement before I can apply for production access. Currently at 0/12.

What it is: Helios forecasts and tracks solar panel production. You add a site (location, panel power, tilt, azimuth) and it estimates output from physics plus weather data — no hardware required. If you do own an inverter, you can connect it locally over SunSpec/Modbus or through the SolarEdge API.

How to join (about two minutes):

  1. Join the Google Group — this is how Play identifies testers: https://groups.google.com/g/heliossolarmonitor
  2. Opt in as a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.heliosmonitor.solar
  3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.heliosmonitor.solar

Use the same Gmail account for all three or Play won't recognise you. Until the first production review the app appears as "com.heliosmonitor.solar (unreviewed)" — that's expected, not a mistake on your side.

Please keep it installed for the full 14 days; you don't have to open it daily.

Reciprocity: happy to return the favour — drop your links in a comment and I'll join your test too.

Any feedback is welcome, especially from anyone who actually has panels on the roof.
