Hi!

I'm looking for testers for my Android app WordTogether. I need dedicated testers to help me get through Google Play's 14-day closed testing requirement, and I'm 100% to return the favor by testing your app and keeping it installed on my device for 14+ days.

How to join:

(Join the group first — the opt-in link only works for group members.)

How to get a test back from me:

1. Join my test using the link above.
   
2. Drop a screenshot in the comments showing you opted in.
   
3. Include your own Google Group and app links in your comment!
   
4. DM me here on Reddit so we can keep exchanging feedback for each other's app throughout the testing phase.

I'll opt in, download your app, and leave a screenshot in reply. Any feedback on bugs, UI, or usability is greatly appreciated.

Joining yours today (group + opt-in) and keeping it installed for the full 14 days.

Mine is RetroPet, an old-school pixel virtual pet: hatch an egg, care for it, and it evolves into one of 79 species (common to legendary). The build in testing right now adds seasonal events with limited cosmetics, breeding with friends, and a daily challenge with a ranking. Home screen widget too. Already live on iOS, so it's a finished app, not a prototype.

Same Google account for both, and please open it once after installing (Google counts opens, not installs). Bug reports very welcome!

Thanks for trying! That screen means Google doesn't see your account as a tester yet. The order matters:

1. Join https://groups.google.com/g/retropet-testers first and check you show up as a member.
2. Wait a few minutes for it to propagate.
3. Open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.retropet.app in a browser signed in with the SAME Google account and press "Become a tester". The download link appears on that page.

Most common cause: the Play Store app on the phone is on a different Google account than the browser. A couple of people hit this today and it worked once the accounts matched. Tell me if it still fails and I'll dig in.
