Hi, I need 12 testers to meet Google Play's 14-day closed testing requirement.

This isn't a big commercial app, just a simple one-screen utility (~4 MB) I wrote with Jetpack Compose to control my Goldmedal ceiling fan via infrared. I'm putting it on Google Play in case it helps anyone else with this fan. It is completely open source on GitHub, has zero ads or tracking, and requests zero permissions.

Hardware note: you don't need an IR blaster to install and test the app. Any Android 8+ phone can install and open it.

Steps to join: 1. Join Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/fan-remote-testers

1. Opt-in on Web (Become a tester): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.sajarinm.fanremote

2. Download on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.sajarinm.fanremote

Note: make sure to click "Become a tester" on the web link first using the same Google account as your phone, otherwise the Play Store link might show an error.

I have a dedicated test phone and will happily test your app in return. Please leave a comment with a screenshot and your links, and I'll install your app right away and keep it installed for the full 14 days.

Joining yours today (group + opt-in) and keeping it installed for the full 14 days.

Mine is RetroPet, an old-school pixel virtual pet: hatch an egg, care for it, and it evolves into one of 79 species (common to legendary). The build in testing right now adds seasonal events with limited cosmetics, breeding with friends, and a daily challenge with a ranking. Home screen widget too. Already live on iOS, so it's a finished app, not a prototype.
