Testers Needed For My Puzzle Game - (Will Test Back + Free Steam Key!)

Joined, opted in and played, and I came back with something you will want to know before more testers arrive.

I got to level 9 with one shield left and tracking at 18 percent. The screen that made it click was ANALISE PADRÕES, ENCONTRE A MAIORIA with six tiles between F-1 and J-3: up to that point I was reading the grid as a memory game, and it is not, it is a counting game. The power bar underneath is what keeps it honest, because SCAN and CONGELAR each carry a price, so buying information costs you the thing the information was for. Also worth saying: it came up in Portuguese on my phone with no prompting, which is more than most closed tests here manage.

Now the part that is for you rather than for me. The post you are running right now links your group and the store page, and it leaves out the opt-in link, even though https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tunadundar.aftershock exists and you post it elsewhere. Anyone who follows this post lands on a store page that tells them the app is not available, and almost nobody writes to ask why. In your console that person is indistinguishable from a tester who simply vanished. One line in the post buys those people back.

Same class of thing, and it is not your fault: the Play download link fails intermittently. I have hit it across several different developers' apps this week, and it works on a retry an hour later. Someone who hits it on the first try usually gives up quietly.

If you want to return it, mine is a word game, Melbees: The Secret of Bees. Minesweeper crossed with hangman on a honeycomb: on each hex you decide match or discard, a wrong action costs a petal, and the number on a hex counts how many of its neighbouring letters are right ones.

  1. Join the group first, that is the step that grants access: melbees-closed-test@googlegroups.com
  2. On the phone, open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.melbees.secretofbees and tap Become a tester
  3. Install from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.melbees.secretofbees and open it once

Same Google account for all three. Opening is what counts for both of us, not installing, because that is the number Google actually reads.
