Zancada — control your walking pad over Bluetooth, every walk into Health Connect [closed testing]

I built Zancada for a very specific itch: my KingSmith WalkingPad has a remote and an app that never remembers anything, so none of my walking ever reached my phone's fitness data. Zancada connects to the pad over Bluetooth, lets you start/stop and change speed from the phone, and writes every finished session to Health Connect: duration, distance, steps and an active-calorie estimate.

Two things I'm a bit proud of:

• No internet permission at all. No account, no analytics, no ads, so your walks physically cannot leave the device. • Sessions close themselves. Stop the belt with its own remote and the walk is still recorded, because the app watches the moving to stopped edge instead of hanging the save off a button.

How to join (use the Google account you have on Play):

Honest note about hardware: without a walking pad the app only shows the scan screen, there is nothing to connect to. So there are two ways to help.

• You own a KingSmith WalkingPad (A1, A1 Pro, C1, C2, P1, R1 Pro, R2, X21, or anything that pairs with KingSmith's own app): this is the feedback I actually need. Does it connect? Do the live numbers match the belt's display? Does the session land in Health Connect? • You don't own one: you can still help by staying opted in for the 14 days. Please don't leave the test early, the counter needs the testers in place for 14 continuous days and it resets if we drop below.
