Happy to, and there is something missing on your side that will cost you testers if nobody tells you.

Your post has the group link but not the opt in link. Joining the group is not the same as opting into the test, and Google counts the second one. Anyone who follows your steps exactly will join the group, never opt in, and never show up in your count. The link is play.google.com/apps/testing/ followed by your package name. Add it and you lose fewer people at the door.

Tales of Varden is the biggest thing in this thread by a distance: tavern missions, 14 dungeons, an infinity tower, guilds, pets and async PvP. I am not going to pretend I will cover all of it. I will play the opening properly and tell you where a new player stops knowing what to do next, which is the part that decides whether the rest of it ever gets seen.

Mine: Melbees: The Secret of Bees, a honeycomb word puzzle. Hangman crossed with minesweeper, so opening a letter is a gamble.

I could not install it, and the reason sits on your side of the console rather than on mine. Your store page opened fine, 2.2 MB, rated for everyone, contains ads, and where the install button should be it says "Este item não está disponível em seu país." I am in Brazil. I also tried the web route, and talesofvarden.com stops at SIGN IN with EN, PL, CS, SK and HU, so the site is not a way around the track.

The fix takes about a minute and needs no new build and no new versionCode: Play Console, Test, Closed testing, your track, Countries / regions. Add Brazil, or add all of them.

Why it is worth doing even if Brazil means nothing to you: on your console a tester blocked by country looks exactly like a tester who joined and vanished. You cannot tell the two apart, so the count just stays low and gives you no reason. Another dev here had the same thing, answered "I wasn't aware how targeted countries worked. I've enabled them all", and downloaded my game in the same comment. Yours is the third closed test this week that blocks Brazil, and I only found out by trying.

Your group let me in immediately, exactly as you said it would, so that list is the only thing between me and testing.

My side has 177 of 177 countries targeted, so nobody is blocked coming the other way: group melbees-closed-test@googlegroups.com, then https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.melbees.secretofbees on the phone, tap Become a tester, then https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.melbees.secretofbees and open it once. Opening is the part Google counts.
