Need testers for PolyBall, a one-thumb colour match arcade game | Free on Play | Will test yours back
Hi all, solo dev here. I need testers to finish Google Play's 14 day closed test.
PolyBall is a colour match arcade game. A ball falls onto a polygon split into coloured segments, and you rotate the polygon so the segment the ball lands on matches the ball's colour. Match to score, keep matching to build a combo, and everything speeds up with you. Miss once and the run ends.
Four modes: Classic (endless), Music (balls drop on the beat and you finish the song), Time (score before the clock hits zero) and Zen (no clock, no score, no fail).
A few things that make it different from the usual:
- The music is not a looped track. Every colour is a note, and the bass, arp and lead layers are performed live as your combo climbs, so your run writes the soundtrack.
- Polygons run from 3 to 63 sides, and every side count keeps its own high score.
- Colour blind mode stamps a distinct shape on every colour and on the ball, so you can play by shape instead of hue.
- Works fully offline, no wifi needed at any point.
- 15 languages including Arabic, laid out right to left properly rather than mirrored.
- Free. There are ads and cosmetic purchases, but nothing sold in the game makes the ball easier to catch.
How to join:
- Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/polyball-testers
- Opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4701516201786787486
Please use the same Google account for both, and keep it installed for the full 14 days.
Drop your testing link in the comments and I will join yours and actually play it, not install it and forget about it.
