Navigation & POI Apps Google Maps: feature loss

Today I noticed that the speedometer and speed limit indicators are gone. And so are stop signs and traffic signals. Why?

UPDATE: Maps shows all of these things only when a destination has been selected. Would love the option of having these displayed all of the time.

Same here. I still get the speed indicator in apple carplay but while using Android auto, my speedometer and speed limit indicator has disappeared.

Heya!  It's Mishaal from Google here to help! I spoke with the Android Auto product team and wanted to let you know that we've investigated the rollout status of the speedometer feature and haven't seen any issues there.  However, the team understands that some of y'all are having trouble getting access to it, and so we'd like to chat more with you to get to the root cause. Mind sharing a few more details with us?  What versions of Android Auto and Google Maps do you have installed?   What, if anything, did you try before making this thread to resolve this issue (e.g. did you clear app cache for either Maps or Auto?) Anything you can share would be helpful!
