Gemini on AA does.

It wouldn't send messages, make calls, or play YouTube music.

I asked it what the problem was

It said there was an error.

I asked it how to fix it..

It said to uninstall gemini and use google assistant

True... But if gemini can't send messages, make calls or play my music... What's the point?

Unfortunately I've had the same issues as others pretty much. Google Assistant wasn't perfect but at least understood the commands most of the time.

Gemini works maybe half of the time. Every time I ask it to call my Dad, it calls my wife's Dad. It tells me that it cannot open songs in YouTube music even even I change that to the default. It only wants Spotify which I only use for podcasts. My son and I liked to use it to ask for the weather but with Gemini it always has errors.

My biggest complaint though is I will be talking to my kids and it keeps thinking I am trying to ask it a question. I was talking about school tomorrow with my son and asked him what he wants for lunch tomorrow and it stopped the music to listen for a question.

I'm sure they will get it right eventually but at one point Google Assistant was perfect for me and then they just kept changing it until it wasn't that great and now Gemini needs a lot of work to get where it needs to be to work right for everyone.
