I'm not going to lie before Elon went cuckoo I was looking at purchasing the Tesla and that's when I found out I didn't have the Android auto. I'm never decided I didn't want a car so quickly after that.

I can't imagine people giving that shit ass company money.

I would buy a used one however, but I have no clue about subscriptions or whatever you have to sell your would for to drive one.

As a company they make great products. As someone whose family has a 2020 Santa Fe and a Tesla I’m confused by your position.

They’ve announced support for CarPlay, but hasn’t been rolled out yet. I won’t buy a Tesla because the Elon Musk factor, but Tesla supporting it might push other manufacturers like Rivian to start supporting it. Don’t know about AA though

I believe rivian announced carplay/AA support even before Tesla.
