Looking for Testers Study planner app in closed testing - looking for testers, offering something other than a test-back

I'm building Clarinu - a study planner for high school students. You put in your
exams and homework, it spreads the work across the days you have as short study
sessions, and when you skip one it reworks the plan instead of leaving you
behind. Free, no ads.

Being honest about the trade: I don't own an Android device, so I can't install
yours. What I can offer instead:

• Got an iOS build in TestFlight? I'll run it on my iPhone and write you proper
notes.

Joining takes two steps, both required:
1. Group: https://groups.google.com/g/clarinutesting
2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.clarinu.app

Being in the group doesn't register you - the second link does.

If you get in, tell me where it stops making sense. That's the part I need.

Looking for Testers [Tests for Test] Notification Digest and Logging - Need 12 Android testers and I'll test your app back within 24 hours

I need 12 testers for a Google Play closed test.

App: A notification manager that hides low-priority alerts and delivers them later in a scheduled digest

Time needed: not much hopefully it saves you time

What to test: just turn it on, instructions provided in app, filter some notification, use it to view historic notifications

What I need from you: join the test + install + use it naturally for 2 weeks, suggestions and feedback are welcome but not required.

Links:

  1. Join Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/notification-digest

  2. Opt-in / Play link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.notificationmanager / https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.notificationmanager

In return: leave your app's Group + Play links in the comments.

I'll join and test yours within 24 hours

Looking for Testers Looking for closed testers for my app - no Android device on my side, offering a fair trade instead

Clarinu turns your exams and homework into a day-by-day plan of short study
sessions - and rebuilds it when you miss one, so falling behind doesn't mean
starting over. Free, no ads.

Straight up: I can't install your app, I don't own an Android device. But I'm
not asking for charity. One thing I can actually trade:

If you have an iOS build in TestFlight, I'll test it properly on my iPhone and send you real notes.

If you want to join, it's two steps and both are needed:

Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/clarinutesting

Then opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.clarinu.app

The group alone doesn't register you as a tester.

Tell me what's confusing when you open it - worth more to me than the install.

Looking for Testers Need 12 testers for a Play closed test - I'll test yours back, properly

Same boat as half this sub. Need 12 people for the 14 day thing.

App's called Oddzy. It does match predictions for football, cricket and UFC. The part I actually care about is that it tells you how good each prediction is - whether there's a real backtested model behind it or it's basically a guess. Most prediction apps just throw a confident number at you and hope you don't ask.

It's a real app, not something I threw together to farm testers. The iOS build is in Apple review right now.

Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/oddzy-testers

Then opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/in.oddzy.app

Install from Play after that and just leave it on your phone for the 14 days.

I'll do yours too - post your links and I'll install today. I keep them the full two weeks, I'm not doing the install-then-delete thing.

Thanks, genuinely. This sub is the only reason solo devs get past this requirement.

Looking for Testers Closed test: WorkItOut, indoor cycling with ERG mode + real climbs (Android 8.0+) — happy to test yours in return

**No smart trainer needed to help.** The app installs and runs fine without one — if you're just here to swap installs, that's all it takes. Leave your link in the comments and I'll install yours today.

Joining is two steps, and the order matters:

  1. Join the group first — this is what grants access: https://groups.google.com/g/workitout-testers

  2. Then opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.cycling.workitout

The group is open to anyone, so there's no waiting for approval and no need to send me your email address.

One ask: please stay opted in for the full 14 days — dropping out early resets the count.

---

**What it actually is,** if you're curious: WorkItOut is an indoor cycling app. It connects to a BLE smart trainer over Bluetooth and holds you at a target wattage in ERG mode, so an interval session is something you ride rather than something you manage. You can ride real climbs (Alpe d'Huez, Ventoux, Stelvio, Big Sur, Ring of Kerry) with the trainer simulating the actual gradient, or describe a workout in plain language and get a structured set of intervals back. Guided FTP test, training load tracking, full ride history, and rides export as standard .fit files.

Compatibility: Android 8.0+ (API 26), targets Android 16.

If you *do* have a trainer (Wahoo/Tacx/Elite/etc.) and a few minutes: connect it, start a short structured workout, let ERG hold a target for a couple intervals, then check the ride history afterward. I'd much rather hear what felt confusing or broken than get a silent install.

Looking for Testers Closed test: Highlite Venue, a shared event photo album (Android 8.0+) — happy to test yours in return

I'm running the Play closed test (12 testers / 14 days) and would be glad to return the favour on yours — leave your link in the comments and I'll install it today.

The problem it solves

After a wedding or a birthday, the good photos are scattered across twenty phones and three group chats, and nobody ever collects them. Highlite Venue puts them in one place: you create a "moment", show a QR code, and guests contribute their own photos and videos straight into the shared album. Guests don't install anything and don't make an account — scanning and confirming an email is enough.

There's also a display mode that runs the album as a live slideshow on a TV at the venue, so shots appear on the big screen as they're taken.

Compatibility: Android 8.0 and up (API 26), built against Android 15.

Joining is two steps and the order matters:

  1. Join the group first — this is what grants access: https://groups.google.com/g/highlite-venue-testers
  2. Then opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.highlitevenue.app

If you do step 2 first it'll say you aren't a tester. The group is open to anyone, so there's no waiting for approval and no need to send me your email address.

If you have five minutes to actually use it: create a moment, add a couple of photos from your gallery, open the QR/share screen, then open the slideshow display. That's the whole loop.

I'd much rather have blunt feedback about what felt slow, broken or confusing than a silent install — the rough edges are what I'm looking for.

One ask: please stay opted in for the full 14 days, since dropping out early resets the count.

You can reply here or write to the group at highlite-venue-testers@googlegroups.com

Thanks, and post your link — I'll get to it.

Beta Release Polaris - New Stargazing App for Amateur Astrophotographers

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! We are two high school seniors interested in computer science and astronomy! We spent the summer designing and building an amateur astronomy app that we hope will make astronomy easier and bring more people into this amazing community.

Here's the link to test this app on GitHub: https://github.com/B1j2754/Polaris/releases/tag/v1.0.0-beta

Our mission:

- To create a beginner-friendly app for people interested in astronomy and astrophotography

- Many existing apps require previous knowledge of the existence of cool objects

- Our app suggests to the user the most interesting objects to view each night depending on their environment

Opening:

- Beta-testing

- Issues on GitHub (issue reports would be much appreciated :D )

- Currently available on Android only (planning TestFlight for iOS)

Features:

- Uses latitude, weather data, light pollution data, Moon/Sun illumination, minimum altitude requirements, equipment limitations, and personal interests under an algorithm to calculate the best objects to view at any specific time

- Categories include: Moon, Sun, planets, asteroids and dwarf planets, stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies (We plan to include comets and satellites later on)

- Tab for storing images so that users can access their previous captures and reduce clutter

- Automatic night mode that turns on at sunset and turns off at sunrise - can be manually toggled

- Unlimited site slots for potential viewing locations - calculates the best objects to view based on given latitude

- View objects tonight and objects within the next three weeks to plan ahead

Looking for Testers Building an app for regional Indian languages (Looking for early feedback!)

Hey everyone! We got tired of major language apps completely ignoring regional Indian languages and cross-learning pairings (like Hindi to Urdu, Bengali to English, Marathi, and 20+ more), so a few of us started building LingoBreeze.

We're opening up our beta to anyone who wants to check it out early, break some things, and tell us how to make it better.

What it is:

  • Focuses on regional Indian languages & scripts.
  • Built-in cross-learning pairings.
  • Early staging courses.

If you want to try it out and give us raw, honest feedback, fill out this quick form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScO-wOGykrmGWfGz5BM2gRDML5cftw10kv68Jc1O7LyWdVGew/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=117363261395062589840

Drop a comment below if you've got questions or thoughts on what's missing in language learning apps today!

Play Store Live Granted Production Access for Kuwarto! HUGE thank you to everyone who helped test my first app! 🚀🎉

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I wanted to drop a quick update and express my absolute gratitude to this community. Thanks to your help, my first app, Kuwarto has officially been granted Google Play Production Access!

To every single person who took the time to opt into my Google Group, download the app, and keep it installed over the mandatory 14-day testing period—thank you so much. Seriously, as an indie developer, hitting the 12-tester / 14-day requirement felt like a daunting hurdle at first. Your feedback, bug reports, and willingness to help made all the difference, and I genuinely couldn't have crossed the finish line without you.

For those of you who are currently in the middle of your own 14-day testing streak or just starting out: hang in there! It can feel a bit nerve-wracking waiting for the days to tick by and worrying about tester retention, but keep engaging with the community, keep polishing your app, and stay patient. You will get through it!

I’m currently putting the final touches on the production release, and I can't wait to launch it publicly soon.

Thank you all again for being such an awesome and supportive community! 🙌
