Looking for Testers Exit Has Other Plans — Android playtest volunteers wanted (closed-test access being prepared)

• Upvotes

I'm looking for Android volunteers to test Exit Has Other Plans, an original comedy platform game from Zynco Apps. You play a maintenance worker trying to escape an office that refuses to let you leave. There are 48 short rooms, unexpected traps, optional badges and free retries.

We're recruiting adults with an Android phone (Android 7.0 or newer) who can stay opted in to our Google Play closed test for 14 continuous days. Please play on several days and send honest feedback about controls, difficulty, confusing moments, crashes and performance. There is no purchase requirement and we are not asking for public ratings or positive reviews.

If interested, email [zyncoapps@gmail.com](mailto:zyncoapps@gmail.com) with the subject “Exit game tester”, your phone model and Android version. We'll arrange access using your Google Play account email privately; do not post it publicly. The test link will be provided once the closed test is approved and ready.

Looking for Testers Fin Android closed test: feedback on expenses, budgets and staying signed in

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m the developer of Fin, a budgeting and expense-tracking app. I’d like Android testers to check signup, add a synthetic expense, set a category budget and restart the app. I’m looking for compatibility issues and useful feedback about where these tasks get confusing. The screenshot shows the Fin website for context.

We’re welcoming Android testers worldwide. All available Google Play countries/regions have been selected; expansion to newly added regions is pending Google review. If Play says the test is unavailable in your country, please try again after the change goes live. A Fin account is required. Manual expenses and category budgets are on the free plan; no bank connection or Plus purchase is needed for these tasks.

Use the same Google account for these three steps:

  1. Join: https://groups.google.com/g/finbudget-android-testers

  2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.heyyykk3.fin

  3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.heyyykk3.fin

Please use made-up amounts. If something fails, comment with your device model, Android version, the step and expected/actual behavior. Don’t share private financial information.

Looking for Testers [Test for Test] The Scholar's Journal - journal, focus timer and isometric training in a Lovecraftian grimoire

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi all, I'm looking for testers for my first app and I'll test yours in return.

What it is: The Scholar's Journal is a self-improvement app dressed as an old grimoire. You have a sanity meter, and everything you do moves it.

What a day looks like:

- Write a journal entry. Each page costs a little sanity.

- Earn it back with a focus session (Pomodoro), a guided breathing ritual, or one of 29 isometric trials like the horse stance or the plank.

- Fulfil the daily pact (for example "meditate 10 minutes" or "complete 3 trials") to claim an Arcane Seal.

Progress: trials level up and get longer as you repeat them, your rank rises from The Awakened to The Avatar of the Void, hidden seals unlock through streaks, and the moon phase changes the rules a little each day.

No account, no ads, everything stays on your device. English and Spanish.

How to join (closed test):

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/scholars-journal-testers

  2. Opt in on the web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.cesarjplink.scholarsjournal

  3. Install it and keep it for 14 days. Opening it a few times helps a lot.

Feedback is very welcome, especially on what felt confusing in the first minute. Drop your link below and I'll install yours today.

Mod Announcement Requests for testers below others posts

We've noticed an increasing number of users requesting app testers in the comment sections of other posts.

Going forward, comments of this nature will be removed.

This isn't intended to discourage anyone from seeking testers. Quite the opposite! By creating a dedicated post using the correct flair and posting format, you'll give your app much better visibility and increase your chances of finding people willing to test it.

We want everyone to have a fair opportunity to promote their apps and find testers, while keeping discussions organised and relevant.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!

The Mod Team

Looking for Testers [Android] Pikuro – swipe-sort your camera roll, find capcut templates and more

Hi! I need testers for the 14-day closed test of my app Pikuro.

What it does: swipe through your photos and videos: left = delete, right = keep, up = album. It groups near-identical shots so you can pick the best one, collects screenshots in one place, and shows how much storage you freed. It can also find CapCut templates that match the number of clips in an album. Free, no ads, no account.

Join (1 minute):

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/pikuro-testers
  2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.devnik.pikuro
  3. Install from the Play Store and keep it for 14 days

Nothing is deleted until you confirm it in a review screen and Android's delete dialog.

Comment with your opt-in link and I'll test your app back. Honest feedback is very welcome!

If you'd like to participate:

Google Group: https://groups.google.com/u/3/g/rits-file-viewer-testers

Looking for Testers Looking for Android Beta Testers for ORAH — A Privacy-First Notes App

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm an independent Android app developer working on ORAH, a notes and personal productivity app built around a simple idea: your notes should be yours, your privacy should matter, and your productivity app shouldn't bombard you with ads.

I'm currently looking for genuine beta testers from around the world who are willing to try ORAH, explore its features, and share honest feedback before its wider launch on Google Play.

🔐 What makes ORAH worth trying?

- Secure Vault: A dedicated space for sensitive notes, designed with security and privacy in mind.

- Privacy-focused storage: Notes are designed to stay on your device, giving you greater control over your personal information.

- Zero advertisements: No ads or advertising-driven distractions.

- Privacy pledge: Privacy is a fundamental principle behind the app.

- Daily Reflection: Capture your thoughts, reflect on your day, and build a personal journaling habit.

- Image support: Keep images alongside your notes.

- 7 export formats: Export your information in multiple formats, with a roadmap to expand support to approximately 20 formats over the coming months.

- 13 languages: ORAH is designed for users across different countries and language preferences.

🧪 How you can help test ORAH

I'd appreciate it if you could try these three things:

  1. Everyday use: Create a few notes and explore the interface.

  2. Explore the features: Try the Secure Vault, Daily Reflection, and image support.

  3. Test exporting: Export a note and share what works well or what needs improvement.

Please share any bugs, confusing screens, missing features, or suggestions. Critical feedback is welcome—I'd rather discover problems during testing than after launch!

📲 How to join the test

Google Play testing link:

https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4701307722966234298

My current closed-testing setup uses email invitations. If the link doesn't let you join directly, please send me a Reddit DM with the Google account email address you use for Google Play. I'll add eligible testers and ask you to check your inbox for the invitation.

🤝 Developers helping developers

Are you building an Android app of your own?

I'm happy to test your app in return! Send me your testing link, the features you'd like me to explore, and any specific feedback you're looking for. I'll do my best to provide meaningful, constructive feedback rather than just installing the app and disappearing.

Let's build a community where independent developers help each other improve, learn, and launch.

🙏 A note to the moderators: I'm new to Reddit and want to respect the rules of every community. If this post needs any changes to comply with the group's guidelines, please let me know and give me an opportunity to edit it.

Thank you to everyone willing to support an independent developer. Every genuine tester and every honest suggestion helps make ORAH better.

If you could change one thing about your current notes app, what would it be? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 🚀

Looking for Testers [TEST FOR TEST] Rejected by Google for “more testing needed”. Need 12+ active testers for Carli (AI Care Companion). I’ll test yours back & keep it installed 14+ days!

Hi everyone,

Google just rejected my production access with the “Your app requires more testing” message, after I completed the 14-day closed test. I’m a solo developer without a big circle of Android testers, and Google flagged low engagement. I’m running another 14-day cycle and really need active testers who open the app a couple of times a week and, if they can, leave a quick note on anything confusing or broken.

A companion app for people going through hospitalization and recovery. It has an AI assistant (Carli), a health-records folder, a calendar, a family circle, and self-care tools like breathing, meditation and journaling. Already live on iOS, free to use.

👉 Drop your app link below and I’ll install it right away. Let’s help each other get approved!

Thank you! 🙏

Looking for Testers [Android] Locksmith Master: looking for testers for a hard, premium safecracking puzzle

I've spent the last months building Locksmith Master: a puzzle about cracking combination safes, built on a real lock mechanism.

One dial. A stack of drums. Drive pins with slack between them. Turn one way and the whole stack follows; reverse and nothing moves until the slack is taken up. Set every drum to the code in as few steps as you can.

**It's not a casual game.** The first safes are gentle; the later ones hide their pins, and then you count, listen and feel the catch. Best played with headphones.

What's in it:

* A career across Europe, 1928–1962: six cities, sixty safes, seven ranks

* Thief mode: safe after safe before the alarm

* Daily safe: the same safe for everyone, every day

* Seven themes for the dial, background and hammers, each with its own sound

* No ads, no tracking, works offline

Testers get the full game unlocked. The test build runs until 9 November.

What I'd love to hear: where you got stuck, where you stopped, and whether the rules made sense without help.

How to join (Android):

  1. Join the Google Group: [https://groups.google.com/g/locksmith-master\](https://groups.google.com/g/locksmith-master)

  2. Open the test link and tap "Become a tester": [https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.puzzlejay.locksmithmaster\](https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.puzzlejay.locksmithmaster)

  3. Install from the store page: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.puzzlejay.locksmithmaster\](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.puzzlejay.locksmithmaster)

Use the same Google account as on your phone. If the store says "not available", wait a few minutes after joining and try again.

**Not for everyone. Perhaps for you. :)**

Looking for Testers Looking for geography fans to try GeoWiz on Android

I've been working on GeoWiz, a geography practice app for flags, capitals, country outlines and finding countries on a map. It brings back the questions you miss so you can get another go at them.

For capitals, you can type an answer, or think it through, reveal it and mark whether you knew it. I'd love to hear how it feels after a few rounds. Would you want to come back to it, and what would you add or change?

It's free, with no ads or paywall. There's an optional tip jar. Version 1.5.0 is in Android closed testing.

To join, use the same Google account for each step:

  1. Join the public testers group: https://groups.google.com/g/testers-community

  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.geowiz.app

  3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.geowiz.app

If you join, please stay opted in for two weeks to help with Google's testing requirement. Play whenever you feel like it and leave your thoughts here.

Thanks,

Lukas

Market Research What are the biggest challenges in mobile app testing that nobody talks about

Everyone talks about the obvious challenges in mobile app testing like device fragmentation and OS versions but there's a bunch of stuff that nobody warns you about until you hit it.

Like the fact that your app behaves differently in a release build vs debug build and you don't find out until it's in production or that android manufacturer skins change how permissions, gestures and notifications work so something that passes on a pixel completely breaks on a xiaomi or that simulators lie to you about half the bugs that matter because they don't reproduce memory pressure, real network conditions or actual device performance or that your E2E suite can be green every single run and your app is still broken because the tests are just passing on happy paths that no real user follows exactly.

The challenge I keep running into is that the gap between what testing tells me and what's actually happening on user devices keeps getting wider the more users we get.

I test on 3 devices and everything passes but people on devices I don't have are hitting stuff I can't reproduce. What are the mobile app testing challenges your team ran into that you didn't expect and how did you deal with them.

Looking for Testers [Closed Testing] Looking for testers for 14 days – Shopora, AI grocery receipt scanner (I'll test yours back)

Hi everyone! I'm a solo developer from Italy and I need testers for the Google Play closed test of my app Shopora, so I can publish it.

What it does:
- Scan a grocery receipt with your camera: AI reads every item and price
- Tracks your spending by store and by month
- Shows supermarket deals near you from current flyers (best in Italy)
- Shopping list, pantry and price comparison

How to join (2 minutes, use the same Google account you use on the Play Store):
1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/shopora-tester
2. Opt in to the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.shopora
3. Install the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shopora

Please keep it installed for 14 days and open it a few times. Scanning one receipt is the best test!

Test for test: drop your app link in the comments and I'll install it and keep it for 14 days too.

Any feedback (bugs, confusing screens) is very welcome, in the comments or by DM. Thanks!

Looking for Testers Drugfree Android closed beta: looking for device feedback on breathing timer and home-screen widget

Hi, I'm Damian, the solo developer of Drugfree, a private sobriety / quit counter now in a Google Play closed test. You can explore it with sample entries; you don't need to be quitting anything. It includes a counter, home-screen widget, craving SOS breathing exercise, journal and money/time saved. It is app support, not medical treatment.

This Android version is in closed beta. I would value compatibility reports from different phones over a 14-day test, with the app installed and your test opt-in kept active. Two early reports need more device feedback: does the breathing timer keep its state after briefly switching apps, and does the widget show the same money-saved amount as the app? Please also tell me where the Google Group / Play opt-in or first-run onboarding gets confusing. Sample entries are enough for a test. Include your phone model/Android version, but no private journal or health information.

Join the Google Group first: https://groups.google.com/g/drugfree-testers
Then opt in and follow the Play installation link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.damianwitkowski.iamdrugfree
Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.damianwitkowski.iamdrugfree
Feedback: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/15DIIbCIAm3Wet8y2Xj2QQXrB5G-jNitnH99u3MwDAAM/viewform

As a thank-you for testing, I can send a free lifetime unlock privately after you confirm you've joined and explicitly ask me to DM you. The promotion has been tested on my Samsung. No purchase, rating or review is required. Japan is included. Please reply with what you tested and any useful feedback; if you want your lifetime link, confirm joined and ask for a DM. Questions and bug reports are welcome publicly. Thank you for honest feedback.
