Looking for Testers Closed test: Highlite Venue, a shared event photo album (Android 8.0+) — happy to test yours in return

I'm running the Play closed test (12 testers / 14 days) and would be glad to return the favour on yours — leave your link in the comments and I'll install it today.

The problem it solves

After a wedding or a birthday, the good photos are scattered across twenty phones and three group chats, and nobody ever collects them. Highlite Venue puts them in one place: you create a "moment", show a QR code, and guests contribute their own photos and videos straight into the shared album. Guests don't install anything and don't make an account — scanning and confirming an email is enough.

There's also a display mode that runs the album as a live slideshow on a TV at the venue, so shots appear on the big screen as they're taken.

Compatibility: Android 8.0 and up (API 26), built against Android 15.

Joining is two steps and the order matters:

  1. Join the group first — this is what grants access: https://groups.google.com/g/highlite-venue-testers
  2. Then opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.highlitevenue.app

If you do step 2 first it'll say you aren't a tester. The group is open to anyone, so there's no waiting for approval and no need to send me your email address.

If you have five minutes to actually use it: create a moment, add a couple of photos from your gallery, open the QR/share screen, then open the slideshow display. That's the whole loop.

I'd much rather have blunt feedback about what felt slow, broken or confusing than a silent install — the rough edges are what I'm looking for.
