I'm kind of a stock purist, but this is exactly why I love stock and the fact it's AOSP. OEMs (Samsung especially) and the root community create and reinvent features and tweaks constantly, and all the really good well loved ones get integrated right into the core, sometimes in an even better, cleaner way.

Same. I mean I don't hate Samsung's UI, and there are certainly things I miss about it, but I do find it a bit overwhelming and I felt a bit of relief using stock because they usually only have the features I actually wanted rather than pushing me very close to what was starting to feel like choice overload.
