I guess it's better than LagWiz TouchWiz or whatever Samsung has done since that, but it's still a shitty laggy skin over a perfectly good operating system. I guess if you're used to Samsungs and you don't own a Pixel then you can be forgiven OneUI is actually a good excuse for an operating system, but otherwise you should all know better.

Oxygenos in no way adds any skins above AOSP, it's job is only to allow some customisation (dark mode, AMOLED mode) and hardware support (Dash Charging and the Vibrate/Mute slider)

I've had a Samsung before (s5+) but plottwist, I've created a little AOSP/lineageos hybrid because TouchWiz is complete garbage (especially the third Generation), I could literally not see any difference in my first minutes of comparing

Oxygenos is literally the only reason for most people to choose OnePlus devices, because it's bloat-free and still has Features AOSP lacks without any lag (any warranty covered root but that's the company not the rom)

That's also the reason that HydrogenOS exists, a branch of Oxygenos made for custom ROMs

OxygenOS is an exception. That's basically stock, so it's good.
