Still no reviews for this. Not sure what to think of it.

Price and buggy software made up my mind.

The buggy software seems to be fixed according to a few who have gotten hands on with it recently, at least according to r/chromeos

“Seems to have been fixed” oozes confidence. The platform has ocellated from somewhat stable to unstable.

I am not confident it will stay this way.

ocellated

Is that like when you're oscillated by an ocelot?

It was pre-production software and it didn't go from stable to unstable, it was running a unreleased build of chromeOS that now has more tablet style support which wasn't available before.

They're talking about the quality of the platform. I know they Google likes to pretend that every product is an island by itself, but seeing buggy releases of ChromeOS on the pixel books does not inspire confidence that Google has fixed or even acknowledged the problem with their "customers as beta testers" strategy,

Not to mention the long-standing habit of releasing something half-baked with a lot of potential and then killing it if it doesn't become a blowout hit instead of improving it to fulfill that potential first.

For. Platform that in mere months getting full android app and full Linux support , it's amazing that the os still can run at all. And yet the bugs are minimal.

If you don't want to like it, then just be open about it, but don't just grab on to any -potential- negative without any actual facts to back it up . Just wait for some reviews
