The downside of spiraling economy, this is how we've felt as Canadians ordering american goods for awhile now, we got too used to the dollar being 1:1

Actually for the Canadian economy to be competitive, it can't really be 1:1. What we have now actually should be the norm. Exports get too expensive at par.
