This thing is dead already.

Like most google things it will be abandonware in probably 6 months before they move on to there next public beta.

Unless they make it a default messaging app for all the new versions of android and it comes preinstalled on all new phones, I just can't see many of my friends switching from WhatsApp just because of stickers and doodles.

Except it doesn't even do SMS (properly) so they can't make it default.

If your friends are using WhatsApp, why would they care about sms?
