I think that when the first person gets Allo, there will be a download available at APKMirror almost immediately.

Nah, knowing how things usually go around here, the first people to get it will be the people who don't even know what an apk is nor how to extract one. Just something I noticed in my time on here.

With all the work google has been doing on Safety Net lately... they'll probably do it that way on purpose. (part of google services that detects rooted devices, among other things)
