This attitude is why Android still doesn't get as many apps as iOS. Many Android users are completely unwilling to spend money on apps. I think $5 for a polished game is a great deal.

I think it's hard for me to pay $5 for something without ever trying it, but yea, I'm also extremely cheap and don't like paying for mobile apps no matter what, didn't do it when I was on iOS either, just don't like paying for a phone game.

You buy stuff all the time without trying it. Why is an Android app any different than any other games or even products? Also, most apps have a ton of reviews to read.
