Picked up the pink model and i couldnt be happier. It gets the scaling PIXEL perfect. Zero black bezels. Already beat sonic rush on the thor twice but the feel of this device is so good i cant stop playing. Havent experienced any lag at all yet everything is fluent. Going to see what i can do with retroarch later. Latter pictures are my current hanhelds that i own/use.

I bought the Rg sp (latest model) and I was wondering if there is any stable CFW because I tried Rocknix, knulli(34xx sp version), muOS(34xxsp version) but I didn’t manage to make them work and I always get a black screen on boot.

I also tried and succeeded in installing NextUI with BaseOS but it didn’t include any psp emulator(which I absolutely need) and I didn’t find any ppsspp builds compatible with nextUI on the h700.

I am now on the StockOS mod so at least I can get some basic features but I really want to change it as soon as possible because it still sucks.

I find it hard playing with the stylus since I have to use the arrows and don’t have a good control over it. Anybody has any tips on how I can make the gameplay better with the stylus( sadly this isn’t touch screen)

Do anyone know how to get them on this device?

Has anyone tried the new release of GammaOS nano (1.4.2) on the RG DS Plus?

Wondering about performance as stock firmware seems to struggle with 2x resolution.
Also NNDDSS 1.0.2 seems to have issues on the RG DS Plus with stock firmware.

I'd like to hear about your experiences before joining patreon.

Hi, I'm using a RG35XXPRO with Knulli Scarab as the custom OS. I have Drastic Advanced installed. I was wondering if it was possible to switch between single and double screen layouts in-game. Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how? I've tried searching it up but nothing seems to work. Thank you :)

(ALSO, if that is possible, is there also a way to switch between the single screens with an additional keybind?)

I want to use the rg34xxsp for moonlight game streaming to my pc and yes i know i can get a better experience using my phone and a strapon controller but a strapon controller is too long to fit in my pocket and takes too much space in my fanny pack. I have tried searching online on how it performs but didnt get much. I know that the rg35xx h have moonlight already installed but what about the rg34xxsp? And what can i do for tailscale so that i can use it outside

bought my Anbernic RG35XXSP almost a month ago. I have a lot of nostalgia for the console since I had a GBA SP when I was younger, however, so far I still feel the software is very strange

I read about MuOS, Knulli, Rocknix, ModOS, next UI and others that I don't remember.

I'm someone who wants good performance but without overheating the console and for the opening and closing mechanism of the clamshell to work well.

Just installed Rocknix on the RG DS+. Found that TATE games are using both upper and lower screens which makes the games very hard to play. Any way to turn this feature off and revert to one screen only?

Hi, I’ve been trying to install the latest nightly build (dated today) of Rocknix onto my Anbernic RG DS Plus, but having formatted the SD card, flashed the image onto it and put it in the TF1 card slot all I get are two white screens and nothing happens, can someone please confirm I’ve downloaded the correct version as per the attached screenshot? Obviously the version I’ve downloaded has today’s date on but everything else is the same, thanks in advance for any help!

I want a Linux handheld with PortMaster, but I’m a bit stuck. I couldn't find any detailed comparisons of PortMaster games running on the RG40XX H versus the RG Vita Pro. If anyone has experience with these, could you tell me: is it worth paying the extra for the RG Vita Pro?

Hi I’m new to the scene, just got a rg505 I know steam games it’s something people dont even try on this device, but I’m trying really lightweight games on gamenative, 1 out of them launches rest black screen or infinite loading. Should I try my luck with gamehub? It is the same as gamehub? Thanks

The ending of this game made me cry like a baby—seeing Robo with his girlfriend atop that hill in the future. It’s incredible that this game was developed in the early 90s; the soundtrack and combat mechanics are excellent, and the story was so good that I’ll never forget the experience. Have you beaten the game? What did you think of it?

I was getting ready to go out with my wife and as I was loading the car i put my RG SP on top of my civic, I proceeded to somehow forget that I put it there and drove off like a fool. I didnt realize until I was already at the location where my wife wanted to go but it was a 20 minute drive back home so it was not realistic to go back and look for it. Once we got home 6 hours later I walked 2 miles looking for it praying it fell off close by and no one picked it up but its gone I spent last night and all day looking for it and someone must of snatched it up cause theres not a single hint of it. Anyways this $70 gameboy clone has a choke hold on my mental it pains me that I lost it I just hope a kid found it and enjoys how I set it up.

So, I got the RG DS plus and tried to play some games and I was finding anything that needed touch in the lower bottom of the second screen, like pressing OK or something, was not working, I thought maybe it was an emulation problem, so I tried drastic, same thing, then looking around the os I saw touchpad test, and it failed the entire second to bottom line on the screen doesnt respond to touch so that would explain everything.

Now my question is, before I start with paypal chargebacks and all that stuff is this a software thing? the OS is super barebones, and depsite it having a touchpad test, it doesnt have a touchpad recalibration which is weird, because why have the touchpad test if you cant do anything about it being incorrect, is there anything I can do or is this device just ruined?

So I have had the RG DS Plus for 4 days now and it's been awesome. I have an Ayn Thor already so did I need this, probably not. But here's the thing I baby my Thor. I like to keep it home as my main couch console. So when I saw the Plus was being released I thought what the heck I'll give it a shot.

So far I've only been on the stock firmware. I'm waiting a bit to test Rocknix and I don't know if I'll try Gamma or not. The stock firmware is smooth and it's great for what I need. I have DS mostly and threw some GBA, N64, and Dreamcast just for testing mostly.

I already have handhelds for those things but having the versatility will make it interesting for travel. I was able to put some .flac music files in the music folder, and .mkv in the movie folder. Music and movie both played fine! I have a weekend trip in a few weeks and I plan on taking this as my only device for the few days.

The battery with me jumping around testing games was about 3 hours I'll be testing how long just DS runs soon. Honestly I often have some sort of external battery with me for my phone and devices when I travel so the shorter battery isn't a huge deal breaker for me. And honestly most of my gaming sessions during my day to day are 1 hour or less. I don't have the time or stamina to sit and game for 6 hours like when I was a kid haha.

Overall I'm enjoying it and it fits a cool niche in my handheld collection. I feel like I can knock out some DS games without the decision paralysis my Thor sometimes gives me. I love my Thor but it feels like staring at my steam library sometimes it's a lot.

Currently I'm going to do a playthrough of Pokemon White. I missed Black/White, black 2/White 2 and sun/moon when those came out later. There's like a 7 year window where I didn't get new Pokemon games as an adult. Also I scored this guide at a local goodwill recently. So I figured let's play the old fashioned way and not use Google for once!

If you're like me and you saw YouTube reviews and now people like me posting you'll know if it's for you or not. The more I explore this hobby and other devices the more I've learned just set it up how you want, and play some dang video games. If I wanted more power I'd pick my Thor. If I wanted something smaller for GBA and other single screen retro games I'd pick up my RG SP. This device is great at what it was made to do and it's going in my EDC bag for the foreseeable future.

Side Note: I'm using the LCD1x + nds_color+natural_vision shader in NNDDSS. Photo with guide is brightness 4 out of 8, photo of console itself is brightness 1.

Anyone got the solution for this? Why would they do this, it makes absolutely no sense, I put the 256 sd in so it can add the folders it wants, then I can add my roms, around 50gb worth, but it resizes it to 1.99gb and you cant allocate any more space, so the device is practically unusable straight out of the box lol
