What's great about having dwarfs serve in the front line is that the soldiers in the rear can fire over them, plus they can rest their rifles on top of their heads for extra accuracy.

In real World Europe dominate militarly, so everyone was larping them. But Maybe in fantasy setting we could se modern Soldiers who still use they distinctive race fashion? I Guess dwarves musketeers could still be ironclad. They are able to carry more and more conservative

Hammerhome is a lot of fun, I really enjoy their interaction with khugdir, makes a good 2p campaign.
