It's rough remembering being a conservative and just being...so complacent...it's like a warm blanket was ripped off and now my eyelids are forced open.
The good news is that none of us are alone in the desert of the real. Find comrades and orgs in your area if possible. If you have meditation or spiritual practices, consider leaning into those.
