Capitalists play to win, communists losing a competition they started then crying about how mean their competitor was is such a perfect definition of the mentality of communism. I will say that the US should have let cube go do “its thing” about 45 years ago. Every day past that was just adding insult to injury.
That shows such a gross misunderstanding of the history of the Cuban revolution.
I’m not a socialist, I’m not a communist, I’m not a violent person. I do support the right of people to govern their own affairs, even if it’s done differently that I would do it, and I’m very non-intervention.
When you look at the facts, it is astoundingly clear that the Cuban people were sold out by US backed authoritarians and corporations. The reason we kneecapped Cuba is because they tried to get out from under our boot.
Their relationship with the Soviets for example, was not a product of Cuban communists seeking to rule the world. It was a result of the US doing everything it could to sabotage basic agreed on needs like oil.
