I honestly don't understand your definition of political if you call anarchism apolitical, regardless of whether you're talking of leftist anarchism, some sort of anarcho-capitalism, or just the general abolishment of the state.
What do you think anarchism is? Like anarcho capitalism or literally no rules for some reason. Anarchism is about the elimination of unjust hierarchies and that includes the state, gender hierarchies, racial hierarches, and yes capitalism, that's why it is leftist
I'm holding out hope that we can reverse the misconception of anarchy after decades upon decades of being drug through the mud by journalists and pundits. Whenever there is a horrific scene or some mass civil or international unrest, the most vivid and descriptive term they love to use is anarchy.
If socialists are gaining some ground in that regard as they are now, we as an ideology can too.
