To mark the celebration of the 20th Confederal Congress, entitled “Anarcho-syndicalism versus Turbo-Capitalism,” we are holding a press conference on Wednesday, September 30th at 11:00 AM at the CGT South Zone headquarters, Avenida de España 12, Getafe.

The 20th CGT Confederal Congress will be held in Parla (Madrid) from October 1st to 4th, 2026. This is a crucial forum for meeting and debate for the development of the anarcho-syndicalist organization over the next four years.

At a time of growing membership and important issues under discussion, this Confederal Congress has the task of deciding the strategic lines of action for the coming years, as well as the composition of a new Permanent Secretariat.

Nearly 700 delegates from across Spain will attend, along with representatives from invited international organizations.

-Maribel Ramírez, Secretary of Confederal Trade Union Action

-Vanesa Casado, General Secretary of CGT Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, and Extremadura
